Pocatello is infested with purfumed princes (female perfumes worn by males in yoga pants) sent by wealthy parents to attend Idaho State University. They drive expensive Mustang cars and pollute the hot tubs at the local Gold's gym. A struggling taco shop shut the doors and the building has been converted to a mosque. Why are they in Pocatello? Out of state tuition is much higher than in-state residents. They are recruited for $$$$. Wealthy Saudi and Kuwaiti parents provide a nice stipend for their offspring and the spend it liberally around town. A small number remain during the Summer months, but most disappear when the school year ends.
Pokey is fortunate to have the very wealthy muzzies. Boise and Twin are going to get the unskilled welfare leeches.
The academic residents, both teaching staff and students, are the ones who open the door to these problems. Then, when it gets socially uncomfortable or a better deal pops up, they move on leaving the citizens to deal with the results.
