I never expected to write these words, but I miss Mitt Romney.
On Wednesday, the day the front-runner for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination was in New Hampshire alleging that Syrian refugees fleeing for their lives may actually be clandestine terrorists, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee was in Washington, talking sense.
“Donald Trump will not be the nominee,” Romney told a group of business-school students at Georgetown University.

Sally Brown: That's a good story.
Linus: You don't believe what our media is telling us? Don't you think they know better than us? I thought little girls always believed everything that was told to them by grown ups. I thought little girls were innocent and trusting.
Sally Brown: I've had it with the GOPe, the establishment media and all their lies. I'm joining with Diamond and Silk and I'm stumping for Trump.
Linus: Good grief Sally! What would your brother think? You know he's stumping for Jebbie Bush!

Over 95% of the “refugees” are healthy, able, young men unaccompanied by wives or children. They aren’t “refugees”, they are invaders.

No matter what 2015 polls say, 2016 won’t be the year American democracy murders itself. Well, Dana, that's your prediction and here's mine. When the details of the TPP become public and there is a public debate, Trump will gain five to ten more points within a week or two. And, if he will avoid any serious mistakes, he'll be the nominee.
And my predictions have been much better than yours so far. And 2016 should be the year the American democracy revives and saves itself.
