I agree with your assessment. Don’t want to get sucked into a war with Russia/China, but the Mid East? I don’t want to waste blood or money saving muslims. I don’t have a problem carpet bombing the if the become a threat to us.

Depends on how you define “defeat”. We are capable of reducing all their cities and military facilities to smoking radioactive ruins in a matter of hours, but they are capable of doing much the same to us. No winners in that one!

WRONG QUESTION. Do we want to beat them? If we want to beat them, could we? If we do not want to beat them will we? Asked and answered.

The reason we should not be sailing on the Chicom’s man made islands is that we ie Obamassiah is not willing to go to war. The Chicom’s knowing this will not see fit to call the bluff at this point. They will protest and then double down on building and militarizing the islands. At some point it will be suicidal for our ships to sail thru there then it will be game set and match to the Chicoms.

America is hampered by having Barack on the same side as Russia and China, so our military capacity will never be employed.

“We borrowed $2 trillion from China so we could invade Iraq. Think that was smart?”

Hell yes. If you were a contractor that pocketed a good chunk of it...

Too late IMHO.

The blood of over 50 million innocent babies screams for vengeance. It’s happening.

Agreed, although I believe the true figure is closer to 70 million...

It’s never too late to repent. But if these be the end times, how stiff-necked (i.e. unwilling to repent) would the USA be in the respect you mention?

For those who obey God wholeheartedly, Leviticus 26:8 would apply.

I was referring to it being too late for Judgement not to fall. The signs are all around us that it’s been happening for years.

The people who are stiff-necked are those too proud (like their “father”) to admit that their views and policies are wrong and evil. That our own “conservative” party tossed aside the notion of shutting down PP after those 10 atrocious videos came out speaks volumes about where we are with regards to the end.

If we desire to avoid insult, we must be able to repel it. If we desire to secure peace, one of the most powerful instruments of our rising prosperity, it must be known that we are at all times ready for war.
That does not entail being defenders of none but our own to the exclusion of true allies. Obama is withdrawing the USA from being the proverbial “world police” and look at what is filling the vacuum.

BTW, it is not a good thing to take Sun Tzu out of context.
The art of war is of vital importance to the state. It is a matter of life and death; a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected. (I:1-2)

In the practical art of war, the best thing of all is to take the enemy’s country whole and intact; to shatter and destroy it is not so good. So, too, it is better to recapture an army entire than to destroy it; to capture a regiment, a detachment or a company entire than to destroy them. / Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting. / Thus the highest form of generalship is to balk the enemy’s plans; the next best is to prevent the junction of the enemy’s forces; the next in order is to attack the enemy’s army in the field; and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities. … (II:1-3)
Since we will always have enemies, then warfare of the higher kind mentioned here has to be engaged in. Red China certainly has been at it for many decades, against us.

Indeed. The White House cannot be lit up in rainbow colors without some manner of divine reply being forthcoming; and that is only one of many open taunts to the Creator.

Nope. Obama ended that in the run up to the 2012 election. Ever since WWII we have maintained the ability to fight two major fronts (Germany & Japan). It was a good run while it lasted.

War is a extension of politics.Politically the US does not have the will to fight a war in SE.Asia.
