CNN)U.S. military cargo planes gave 50 tons of ammunition to rebel groups overnight in northern Syria, using an air drop of 112 pallets as the first step in the Obama Administration's urgent effort to find new ways to support those groups.
Details of the air mission over Syria were confirmed by a U.S. official not authorized to speak publicly because the details have not yet been formally announced.
C-17s, accompanied by fighter escort aircraft, dropped small arms ammunition and other items like hand grenades in Hasakah province in northern Syria to a coalition of rebels groups vetted by the US, known as the Syrian Arab Coalition.

God only knows how much of that ammo is landing in the hands of ISIS...
ISIS receives 50 tons of ammo from Obama.
If these weapons were not dropped into the hands of the Kurds, then it is just urinating into the wind....
Because either all this war material is going to wind up in the hands of ISIS, or be squandered uselessly.

Obama is pretty good at emergency resupply of ISIS and al Qaeda in Syria.
To bad he could not get supplies to Yemen for 6 years to help them fight
A better question is what will Barry the Pretender do should Russian jets shoot down a couple of our cargo planes that are dropping these supplies?
I believe he will wet himself and then ask VJ what he should do.
Obama’s upping the proxy war. This can’t end well.
What do I do? My country for the first time that I can remember is aiding the enemy.
I can hope for the utter destruction of all groups there and hope that Russia succeeds? i would rather have Assad as a puppet of Russia than ISIS running the land.

50 tons sounds like a ot. Any military guys know if it is or isn’t? does it depend on what it is?
65 percent didn’t WANT a new government. Christians did fine under Assad.
