The Daily Mail is a British paper, and in the British press, “Asian” is the universally-employed code word for “Muslim.” If this British paper is suddenly using the word to refer, as in the American custom, to people from China or Japan, they’re not saying so.
And so now the plot thickens. Police are insisting this attack had nothing to do with terrorism, but they always do that, no matter what the circumstances. If Spencer Stone was indeed stabbed by Muslims, then the possibility that the stabbing was related to his stopping the jihad attack on the French train cannot be dismissed out of hand.

Asian is an overly broad term. It places all people with a background in the Asian continent into one category. It was done to create a big group entitled to government-approved privileges.
It unjustly associates Japanese, Chechynans, Russians, Thais and Saudis. Their cultures are different. Some murder yelling “allaku akbar”.

This guy, one of the French train “heroes” gets stabbed by two muslims. The Oregon muslim shooter was at the school where one of the other French train “heroes” goes to school. Pure coincidence. Not jihad.
The report of ‘Asian’ came from a UK paper. ‘Asian’ in the UK is more than ‘Oriental’ and includes Indians, Pakistanis, Iraqis and other Arab nations.
