Best news of the day. Watch out though, Boner and his pack of snakes probably have some other devious trick to pull.

Good news.
But I don't think a hard line Social Conservative (Webster) is going to unify the party either.
There are very, very few leaders in the Republican caucus of the House.
I tend to go with a non-House member. A confrontational fighter, resolute.
Who that is I do not know.
But one thing is certain, there's at least a DOZEN who can now see a path to the Speakers Chair.

Boehner: “I picked Cantor, then I picked McCarthy... who shall I pick next to replace me?”
Representatives: “Not me!”

I still can't believe all the damage he did to the Benghazi investigation-Imagine what would have happened if he was Speaker.
He proved he isn't the person for the job.

I guess the whole Renee Ellmers affair was about to break over his head. It probably will anyway.

I hope whoever gets it can say a few sentences without stepping on his er tongue. Since Newt we have had a series of hacks and back slappers...no leaders.

I would recommend Newt.
The left would have a 40 day conniption.
He was the most effective Republican Speaker in the 20th Century.
