POLITICO found itself in the crosshairs of Donald Trump on Wednesday, as the perennial media critic and presidential candidate railed against the Rosslyn-based political news outlet.
Trump dashed off a two-tweet attack that called POLITICO journalists clowns who are totally dishonest.
Katie Glueck, a politics reporter at POLITICO, asked Trump for specifics, but he didnt elaborate.

I don't really know Trump to be a media critic until this year. Maybe I missed it. Was he hanging out with Siskel and Ebert for a while or something?
As far as I know, Donald Trump has talked about running for president for a LONG time. This is the first time he has actually DONE it. Therefore, it is incorrect to describe him as a perennial candidate. He's a perennial motor mouth and big cheese, but neither a perennial media critic nor a perennial candidate.
Young Benjamin should avoid using purple prose if he isn't up to doing it right.
