Presumably you support one of the other candidates, and they all support amnesty, either directly or backdoor. If you're opposed to ALL the candidates and are just going to stay home, I'll retract my statement.

The state cut a wide swath through my grandpa’s pasture (along with many others) for a highway. Did not pay him anything. Broke up his property. What is the difference? They both involve “the public good”. Eminent Domain is the least attractive concept in the Constitution, but maybe necessary.

I am, however, thoughtful and intelligent, and this race is a long way from over. I have no favorite, but am watching them all with a critical eye.

I am much more concerned about middle class jobs gone to China & Mexico, illegals flooding in without a wall and costing us $300 BILLION every year in social services for them, and stupid wars like Iraq which was fought on credit card from China. We will be paying interest on that $2 Trillion debt for 100 years.

Maybe that has something to do with the way he accumulated his wealth. It conveys enthusiasm.
The fact that one can be for eminent domain (I would venture to say he is not in favor of boondoggles or people getting shafted) and not be for big government. He is against waste, he is against overregulating. the reason govment is so big now is partly because they are regulating everything. I think he wants a lean and efficient government. “twice as good for half the price”
Often necessary, but only for a "public purpose" -- a category that never should include private real estate development, a/k/a crony capitalism.
Eminent domain comes off highly unpopular, but as I mentioned in other posts, there is indeed a legitimate use for it. But whatever you think of it, accusing Trump of being non-conservative on this one issue but giving a pass to all the other candidates on amnesty and so-called “free trade,” which is destroying the country, is bizarre.
