An ad posted on Twitter mocking Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as "Little Rube" was nothing personal, says GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump, just payback for Rubio's attacks on him.
The ad, posted on Trump's Twitter account on Sunday, shows a picture of Rubio as an elementary school student contrasted to a recent photo of the billionaire businessman Trump appearing to adjust his cufflinks.
"Never Hire a Boy to Do a Man's Job," the ad is headlined.
"Marco Rubio seems like a nice boy," the copy begins. "Well mannered, but bought & paid for. JEB and the PACS sat him down and taught him all that fancy government stuff. 'RINO RUBE' repeats it well! Good boy!"

I like everything Trump is doing. Playing the game ‘their way’ may give some people comfort, but THAT is the very reason our country is going down the tubes.
Alinsky tactics? Please.
Personal attacks and insults go all the way back to Greek and Roman elections.
Nobody said politics was nice or pretty.

“Id rather hear why Trumps tax plan is better than Rubios.”
Rubio doesn’t have a tax plan. His campaign is a joke.
His policy page is just a bunch of youtube videos:

Rubio went to a morning show today and guess what the first question was: Trump. And the second question: Trump. And the third question: Trump. I came away from the interview knowing that Rubio likes water and sweats a lot.
Trump know exactly what he is doing.
Rubio’s nothing more than toastmaster graduate who once upon a time convinced a plurality of Floridians he was a conservative.
Apparently republicans are ready to try their luck with a rich, loudmouthed megalomaniac, since they lack a mature candidate they think can win.
He does sweat like a lunatic. Someone needs to ask him why.
[...since they lack a mature candidate they think can win.]
Trump has pretty much torn apart and demeaned just about all the republican candidates, most deservedly, with the possible exception of Cruz...so far.
The question, which has been creeping into my skeptical my mind is, what if he is nothing more than a stalking horse for the left?
I’ve enjoyed his bull in the china shop tactic of both parties but the ‘what if’ possibility is really starting to make me question his real objective.
My thinking has gone in the exact opposite direction. I used to think he was running because it would increase his value as a reality star.
But Trump has some very credible people working on his platform and has put forward what look like some serious policy proposals. I’m more convinced now that he’s serious about this.
Good points and I think are true...but Id much rather see him attacking the press, Democrats and dictators than the snarky attack on other R candidates. He will have to eat his words if the nom goes to someone other than himself...
This is politics son. It’s a rough and tumble game. You either take out the competition or you lose - it’s as simple as that. It isn’t immature - Trump is head and shoulders above anything Obama has to offer or ever has had. Lighten up and enjoy the ride, You apparently need to check out some of the political attacks of years gone by - they weren’t nice.
I’m backing Trump. The counterrevolution is here, gents. Trump is right. Push back, he says. Always push back. He is pro-gun, pro-military, pro-American and is a Tough Negotiator.
What was your first clue?
The fact that he consulted with Bill ‘I did not..’ Clinton about running?
Someone needs to tell Rush that the Clintns can run an ‘Operation Chaos’ too.
“I’m tired of Trump saying....” Like you, I’m tired of the pearl clutchers on our side, too.
Probably.....I guess I might feel differently if he were attacking Democrats with his snark, instead of giving them ammunition for the 2016 election.
He is getting his digs in. Once they get a D nominated, then you will see the long knives come out. Right now he has to clear the R field to get the nomination. Don’t you understand this?
I’ll bite....who are these credible people that DT has creating policy?
[Im more convinced now that hes serious about this.]
Believe me, I hope I’m dead wrong about my ‘creeping’ fears.
Maybe Im unusual but Im really happy to see someone on our side personalize things for a change.
Besides, theres substance in Trumps criticism.
I don’t disagree, but it’s not like Trump’s ad discusses Rubio’s terrible breaking of his central campaign promise by pushing amnesty through Congress. He probably does on another ad. But this ad is simply mocking him for his appearance.
