The White House confirmed that President Obama was preparing a series of executive actions on gun control to match his recent passion on the issue after the latest mass shooting in Oregon.
“It’s a high priority and will continue to be until we start to see more progress on this issue in this town,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters today at the press briefing.
Earnest said he would “quibble” with anyone who criticized the president for not voicing any specific gun control proposals during his press conference, asserting that the White House was working behind the scenes for more executive actions on guns.
“I can tell you that they’re not stumped, they’re continuing to review the law that’s on the books and continuing to consult with legal authorities but also others who may have ideas about what steps that can be taken to keep guns out of the hands of criminals,” Earnest said.
He admitted, however that he had no details for what the White House was working on, but asserted that the process was a “scrub” that was “ongoing.”

He will threaten to shut down the government if Congress doesn’t send him a bill. Or, he will do it anyway and say he won’t ‘reopen’ until Congress sends him a bill.
Of course, this really means that +/-15% of government is actually on shut down mode, but they all get their back pay, so it’s trifling. But it’s grandstanding, which is about his only ploy. He’s using it like a ‘wait until I tell your father’ routine.

Scenario for tackling his final challenge, the second ammendment:
Obola can crash the economy to varying degree, let his gimmedat dogs of war go all Ferguson across the country.
Resulting violent rioting will necessitate declaring some kind of martial law, seizing guns just as in Katrina.
Crisis will permit further stroke-of-the pen Executive laws to be enacted, ie:
1. Enact an Executive order banning / limiting / requiring ammunition purchase registration (personal ID recorded), like some leftist states have been trying to do.
2. Enact an Executive order holding gun owners criminally responsible for all firearms lost or stolen, as some states have done.
3. Harmonize US national and state gun laws with UN small arms treaty.
Oh, BTW: ALL gun purchase records have been archived at least since the inception of 1990’s BATF firearms purchase Instacheck. Your gun purchases Are on record and will serve as a gun registry.
You will turn in your firearms in order to get your IRS refund, Social Security benefits, Medicare, Federal / State retirement pension, keep your trade mark, copyright, patent, EBT, Disability and other privileges from the state.
