The Oregon shooter who killed nine and injured nine shot a woman in a wheelchair who had a service dog, a survivor of the horrific event, said.
The survivor, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the woman in the wheelchair got out of her chair and huddled on the ground with everyone else when Chris Harper-Mercer first pulled out his guns.
'She got off the chair, she went on the ground and then he told her to get back on the chair. And then she tried to climb back on the chair, and then he shot her,' the survivor, who was shot in the hand, told CNN.
Harper-Mercer prefaced his murderous rampage by handing an envelope to one boy, told him to stand in the corner and said 'you're the lucky one'.

Barack Obama and his ilk are using the tragedy in Oregon to attack the Second Amendment. His argument is completely illogical but people are so desperate to stop these horrific murders that they will buy into it without truly thinking about the impossible logic of eliminating every gun and the illegal gun trade. They won’t consider that the gun grabbers will go after knives next as former NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg did during his reign.
The people of Roseburg will not go along with Obama’s agenda. This is one tragedy he won’t be able to fully exploit.
The Roseburg Beacon publisher David Jaques says Obama is not welcome after his comments politicizing the shooting death of nine people at Umpaqua Community College.
Nothing, at least until critical mass is reached, I guess.

Not only did she raise him, she housed him and his weapons.
She knew he was mentally ill and allowed him access to firearms? How many of those guns did she buy for him? 0bama already knows, and refuses any release of that info.
Wasn’t there a single MAN present in that group? Did no one attack the scumbag because it’s better to die fighting than cowering, and your only chance is to resist?
And you know there’s an ideology behind all that hate.
I wonder what it is the media and government are so anxious to keep a lid on.
Re my last: I had forgotten about the HERO who did so. And he survived. Kind’a makes my point, no?
Probably some version of the SNL song, "I'm gonna get me a gun and kill all the whities I see." Otherwise, it would be in the news.
I imagine it is rather hard to maintain the necessary resolve to die fighting when you have been raised by those who contend that nothing is ever solved by violence.
Back in the fifties there were fights on the schoolgrounds quite often. Some of them were regular knockdown, dragout types between high school students. In those days it was not a big deal, it was not encouraged by any means but it was forgotten pretty quickly. Now it would result in fourteen police cars and a swat team being dispatched. They will send six cars to arrest one man who has zero history of violent behavior or even theft, I have seen that for myself.

The depth of depravity in this murderers acts is still not fully explored. On Sunday, we have learned three terrible new things about the murders. That he made a woman beg for her life before killing her, that he made Christians crawl across the floor to be murdered, and now, that he made a disabled woman who was on the floor climb back into her wheelchair so he could kill her in it.
True.
Its just a shame that the little turd didn’t kill his parents first like most of them do.
She said that they talked about it all day in every class. Being an 8 year old, they asked a teacher if they could throw the bleachers at the intruder, and the teacher said, yes - everybody get together and throw those bleachers at the intruder!
I think they are getting the right message down here in Alabama! It is so sad that kids have to be taught this, but I am so happy they are being taught to be proactive instead of passive.
Obviously my statement didn’t apply to her.
I’m wondering about the other ‘men’ who stood there and watched their male classmate get shot SEVEN TIMES though...
I guess the ‘let’s’ roll’ generation is out of college now.
If there’s an intruder at your kids school and that’s the ‘advice’ and ‘protection’ they have, you’ll likely need to buy a tiny little coffin.
Proactive is ARMED GUARDS and TEACHERS, not ‘imagination games’ where 8yr olds pretend to throw bleachers at armed gunmen.
Look up Beslan if you aren’t aware of that situation.
