I read that actually all was over when this Vet wanted to assist. This whole mess lasted 80 seconds from what I read so he wasn’t going to be of any value to the situation. I don’t know where I read that, it was somewhere on the web. He was hanging out with some other Vets in a room where they gathered. 80 seconds, less than a minute and a half.

I'm happy if he does carry, but this is beyond moronic for a national candidate to say. It's simply a dare or challenge to the psychotic Lefties out there, like the UCC shooter. They know they will die, and they do not care. It is close to impossible to prevent a murder from someone like that.
Honestly, this is another minor point against Trump as a candidate, in my eyes.

“But, Hannity was interviewing a Military Veteran - who was carrying (concealed) - and the staff at the school would not allow him to assist.
When are these idiots going to be held accountable for the deaths”
The Civil Liability/Litigation Lottery two-step.
It has been beaten into people’s brains now.

As if they somehow otherwise thought they could attack Trump without his security (and soon, the Secret Security) fighting back just as well?

A goober is a peanut.
Alternatively, it's a meaningless pejorative, signifying that the speaker does not like the person being called "goober". A person's use of meaningless pejoratives frequently indicates that person is mentally deficient, unable to compose meaningful or insightful criticism of those he dislikes.

I would hope so too, but it is best if we take our own measures and not expect God to intervene on our behalf moment to moment.
Jesus would not cast Himself down to test God.
We should not cast ourselves at our enemies mercy to test Him either.
