The death toll has climbed to 22 following an airstrike in Kunduz, Afghanistan, that struck a hospital run by Doctors Without Borders Saturday.
Ten of those killed were patients, including three children, according to Doctors Without Borders/Mdecins Sans Frontires (MSF). The other 12 were staff members, said MSF.
In a statement, the coalition in Afghanistan acknowledged that U.S. forces conducted an airstrike in Kunduz early Saturday at 2:15 a.m. local time "against insurgents who were directly firing upon U.S. service members advising and assisting Afghan Security Forces in the city of Kunduz. The strike was conducted in the vicinity of a Doctors Without Borders medical facility."

In reality, a number of them weren’t all that innocent, and those that were, picked a bad place and time to be sick or injured.

Doctors With Moral Relativism.
Or
Doctors With Situational Ethics.
That’s area vacated by his beloved JV team.
So why does that court martial for the pilot start?
That should be “when”
Step away from the keyboard until you are sober
“So you think this was a good thing?”
These people aren’t neutral - they’re on the other side:

You might say that they are the “civilian” (and propaganda) wing of every anti-American terror organization around. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I’ve been peripherally aware of their BS for a while now. It’s not exactly heart-breaking that some of these people are finally paying a price for helping the Taliban.
A direct question was posed: Were bad guys hiding in/shooting from/using as a human shield ... the hospital.
The smarmily worded answer (paraphrased from memory but accurate) ... "none of our people reported any hostile forces entering the hospital".
That's a Hilary Clintonian equivalent of : None of the emails were marked classified.
The only real answer to that question, if the bad guys weren't using it, is "no" ... not "nothing was reported."
I didn't know enough (nor do I now) to have completely called BS on the guy - but it sounded like TOTAL CRAP to me, especially with all this War Crimes war path stuff.
O should hang for it, but the DWB CEO's tone was ... well ... French.
Just saw Greenfield's article. That pretty much confirms what the internal BS meter was telling me during the interview. All positioning, all blame ... way too early to run around screaming 'war crime war crime'.
That's all just intuition ... I know nothing of the history of DWB.
And of course NPR through softball after softball after tee-up followed by another softball.
Am I the only one who thinks that everybody on NPR sound like they’re on Prozac.
I like a lot of the interviews where they stutter their words in interview questions to sound like they are really interested or thinking of the question on the spot ... "and wh-wh-what were you .... whatwereyou thinking wh-when you first realized you were w-w-were a woman trapped in .. in a man's body?"
Two or three of them do it - they tend to copy Terry Gross because of her sucess ... and yeah they are all on prozac and benzos I suspect.
We have a couple real characters in Maine.
Obama will now require that ALL air strikes in Afghanistan be politically correct, and the USA will now exit Afghanistan altogether.
You have a point there. I recall Bill Clinton bombing an aspirin factory on the day of the Lewinsky trial.
