The Democrats have 1.8% of the vote sewed up. No need to go chasing after what you won’t get.
If asked why I didn’t attend something like this, I would say the following.
I intend to defend the rights of U. S. Citizens across the board.
I do not intend to single segments of our society out for special treatment.
I’m not going to do it based on race, gender, or sexual preference.
As president it will be my job to treat members of our society fairly, and I intend to do that for everyone.

It’s not the 1.8%, but the 70% that support their agenda. That’s the audience he must address if we’re ever to win the White House back.
I say call her bluff. Take the conservative message to them - they’re the ones who so desperately need to hear it.
