Obama: I’m Not Losing To Putin In Syria
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | 10-2-2015 | Charlie Spiering

President Obama is pushing back against the idea that he’s been outmaneuvered in Syria by Russian President Vladimir Putin since the two met at the United Nations on Monday.

Obama appeared frustrated by the suggestion during a press conference this afternoon, dismissing it as a notion only talked about in the Washington D.C.

“Sometimes the conversation here in the Beltway differs from the conversation internationally,” Obama responded.

Obama accused Putin of acting in Syria “out of weakness,” repeatedly referring to Russia’s weakening economy. He also compared his coalition to act against ISIS in Syria to Putin’s unilateral decision to prop up Assad.

“Iran and Assad make up Mr. Putin’s coalition at the moment,” he said. “The rest of the world makes up ours.”

He repeatedly assured reporters that he was “very clear” with Putin about where America stood on Syria, ....... Obama: I’m Not Losing To Putin In Syria.

“This is not some, you know, super power chess board contest and anybody who frames it in that way isn’t paying very close attention to what’s been happening on the chess board,” he said.

Apparently not. Of course, we’ve had several examples.

There’s video out there where he refers to Michelle as “Michael”. He was at a podium, addressing part of the US military.

: ...he is blending the worst characteristics of Neville Chamberlain, Jimmuh Carter and Marshall Petain.”

Chamberlain was naive, Carter was incompetent, but I have to somewhat come to the defense of Marshal Pétain. Verdun was the longest, and arguably the nastiest, battle in world history. Pétain saw his countrymen slaughtered by the thousands, lying to rot in the trenches, while their fellow Poilus waded, slept and tried to survive among their remains. Pétain vowed to never again see his people suffer so.

When the Nazis invaded France in WWII, DeGaulle bugged out and left France to the wolves. The people looked to the aging Pétain, the “Lion of Verdun”, for their salvation. This left him with a horrible choice. Pétain could continue the fight, thus guaranteeing the deaths of thousands, if not more, of the people of France, or he could cooperate with the Nazis. He chose the latter because he could not bear the memories of Verdun to come to reality again.

Cooperating with the Germans meant Pétain had to do some very unsavory things, but it meant thousands of his people would be saved. He did not do this out of love for Germany, which he detested, nor for anti-semitism, but for love of France. Forming the Vichy government meant that France was at least partially self—governing, and did not suffer the fate of Poland. Perhaps his decision was misguided, but it did save the lives of many French people.

After the war Pétain was vilified in the allied courts and branded a traitor, in part through the efforts of DeGaulle.

Much of the “history” you will find about Pétain will portray him as an evil villain, but remember, history is written by the victors. And one of the victors was DeGaulle.

The rest of the world just took a dump on your desk, Barky.

If he doesn’t want to lose to Putin, he’d better start his hash-tagging on Twitter ASAP!!!

Tough guy.

Our Dear Leader said the following in his speech at the U.N. --

"We know that ISIL, which emerged out of the chaos of Iraq and Syria, depends on perpetual war to survive. But we also know that they gain adherence because of a poisonous ideology. So part of our job, together, is to work to reject such extremism that infects too many of our young people. Part of that effort must be a continued rejection by Muslims of those who distort Islam to preach intolerance and promote violence, and it must also involve a rejection by non-Muslims of the ignorance that equates Islam with terror."

This incredibly curious statement brings up many things. One is that Our Dear Leader sees the World as "muslim" and "non-muslim". I have to wonder who the "our", referenced twice in the part-bolded-by-me, is.

Just who are the many young people being infected with a poisonous ideology that he is referring to? Moderate muslims? Young Americans? One would hope that the President of the USA would be most concerned with, and speaking on behalf of, Americans.

“If there is another word that can describe how loathsome and detestable he is, please let me know.”

He’s a poopbutt. So is his SoS J. F.’n Ketchup.

Anyone that describes the situation at hand as “super power chess board contest and anybody who frames it in that way isn’t paying very close attention to what’s been happening on the chess board,” is a poopbutt.

“Game of chess”, or “chess match” I’ve heard of, but “chess board contest” could only come from a poopbutt.

I’ve heard they don’t come back “loaded”, they drop their ordnance in the nearest large body of salt water or uninhabited areas.

If anyone knows this to be incorrect, please advise.
