They will need them to try and slip past Putin’s no-fly zone in Syria.

To protect head-chopping muslim terrorists from Russian bombs.

To remove them from defending against the Chinese, of course.

Russia is a bigger threat to our national interests than any terrorist group. Not that we shouldn’t kill terrorists but we can’t keep making the mistake of ignoring our long term strategic interests while we focus on short term emotional interests.

Turkey. They're operating out of Incirlik, almost certainly.

If so, this puts the F-22s astride the route from Israel to Iran.

In which case, the F-22s serve as a message to Bibi...

40 years of Russian equipment and planes and Syria’s Regime never hit ISIS, just for Russia to join this same act.

What you must remember is that *everything* Obama touches turns to crap.

Libya is now a wasteland after Obama’s 2011 war there.
Syria is a giant battleground, after 4 years of Obama’s backing of “moderate” terrorists there.

Obama could be sending F-22’s to fight Russians or Israelis or both. Whatever it is, he’ll screw it up.

To shoot down Russians doing the job Americans are eager to do, but the American government refuses to do. Starting to make sense why zero has done what he’s done. To start WWIII and bring about a leader among leaders and cause the Mahdi to return.

“Why do we need Raptors in the Middle East? I thought ISIS had no air force. “

Syria and Iran have received the most sophisticated Russian SAMs.

Let’s suppose the Raptor is invulnerable to detection and we use it with impunity. Each exposure to potential future enemies further limits the lifetime of that impunity. Also, we run the risk of losing one over enemy territory. The Russians, the Iranians and the Chinese would benefit tremendously. It might catapult their capabilities ahead at zero cost to them.

This is an ego deployment on the part of President Nobel Prize.

Our Man Child in the White House must be having an Air Show somewhere because we know he is not serious about this.

God speed to our airmen and protect them from harm while following the ludicrous commands given by their CIC and possibly a new proxy war.

I hate Obama and all he stands for.

We have 187 Raptors available for service.

And the Hawaiian National Guard has a squadron of them?

Any F-22 pilot who follows orders to retaliate against an Israeli attack on Iran can get show down as far as I’m concerned. Follow orders to attack Israel or turn in your wings? TURN IN YOUR WINGS!
