HONOLULU, Oct. 2 (UPI) -- An undisclosed number of F-22 Raptors of the Hawaii Air National Guard and the U.S. Air Force have been deployed to the Middle East for as long as six months.
The Hawaii Air National Guard, or HIANG, said the deployment of most of the fighters and more than 200 personnel from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu took place Sept. 26 but was kept secret for security considerations.
The aircraft and personnel are now in an unidentified location in the region, which is in the area of responsibility of the U.S. Central Command.
"Because of security considerations and host nation sensitivities, the HIANG will not release the base nor country where the Raptors are operating from, nor will the HIANG release the number of F-22 fighters that are deployed," it said.

To answer your questions
Yes.
Yes.
Depends on how and where they’re stored.
“Military people are trained to follow orders, from good commanders or bad.”
Have YOU ever served in the military?
IF you served more than two weeks, then you would know that everyone right down to the lowest Private can refuse to follow an unlawful order.
But with the moronic statement of yours I quoted above, you have proven yourself as a know nothing NEVER BEEN.
I saw it.
I didn’t know the bug was already dead.
You mean Russia in alliance with Iran and Syria could not adversely affect Israel and indirectly the USA?
Compared to Obama’s campaign against Netanyahu and Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran?!
Wake up.
No, there was no comparison, but my scenario would be for years to come, and perceiving that would be consistent with being awake. But my question was not necessarily an objection as it was looking for some clarification.
The simple answer is that the USA has no vital interests per se *inside* Syria.
i suggest you do not post to me any further - further posts on your part would only be an attempt to sooth your bruised ego and be nothing but emotional whining and a pointless exercise to try and anger someone that simply does not care about you or what you feel.
Cheers.

You are right in theory. Have you ever willfully disobeyed an order? I knew a couple who tried. After their example, no one else had the desire to do so.
Please don’t answer. I have no intention of getting into an internet armchair pissing match.
" To protect Barack's head-chopping muslim terrorists buddies from Russian bombs.
Scary tie in my Friend:
Note that the F-22 deployment happened back on 9/26, and only made public today, yet Hillary, Fiorina, and Kasich all used identical language calling for a Syrian No-Fly Zone this week.
“They knew.
“They are all lackies running cover for Obama if he decided to enforce the NFZ over Syria.
“Hillary, Fiorina, and Kasich are all lackies for Obama.
A Russkie-Orc army in Syria, and Syria now armed with advanced anti-aircraft and other modern weapons is certainly an issue for Israel and the US. Syria doesn’t need anti-aircraft against an enemy with no air force!
What is so vital in Syria that you’d want to go to war against Russia?
Motivation for going to war with Russia over Syria:?
“Silver jumped a dollar an ounce since yesterday. Anything up?

Just thought this seems possibly important. Gold also jumped.”
Who says I want to go to war with Russia over Syria? I'm just pointing out that Russia is clearly building up Syria (and Iran by proxy) for defense against Israel and the United States. Who knows, the Russkies might even push into Iraq. The US might as well not even exist in the world.

Thanks.
Supporting a No Fly Zone valid only for Russian jets while flying USA jets inside said NFZ in order to bomb ISIS is tantamount to a war against Russia.
Stop repeating jingoisms and start thinking 2 steps ahead. Enforcing a No Fly Zone means shooting down Russian jets.
Why do you keep putting policy into my mouth? I never mentioned anything about no fly zones either. I've never even thought of it or its pros or cons, and have no opinion, seeing as how worrying about it is pointless with Obama in charge. Nothing good nor useful can be accomplished right now. I will add that Russia is hardly just bombing "ISIS." Their attack patterns are clearly designed the defend the Assad regime by exterminating all rebel forces, and even breaking the will of the population through terrorism by bombing civilian cities.
