I listen to Ted Cruz a lot. I have to say this interview might be his best in tone and substance-- esp. about his overriding strategy to implement a conservative agenda on the GOP-e Congress- and his thoughts on Russia and geopolitics.
One comes away thinking- there's nothing this guy hasn't thought through.

"Today, judicial lawlessness crossed into judicial tyranny. Today, for the first time ever, the government arrested a Christian woman for living according to her faith. This is wrong. This is not America.
I stand with Kim Davis. Unequivocally. I stand with every American that the Obama Administration is trying to force to chose between honoring his or her faith or complying with a lawless court opinion..." Ted Cruz

I don’t see any specifics - just bullet points. Everyone yells that Trump doesn’t give specifics - yet, I’ve yet to hear any of Cruz’s policies. These are a wish list.

And I have heard Trump talk about his doing things that are clearly outside the scope of his Constitutional authority.

Yes, I think Trump, if he actually tries to preside in the manner he claims he will, may well end up getting himself impeached. He should have no illusions that the Republicans, unlike the dems, won’t impeach him. The dems are a different animal from the repubs, as the dems have little or no moral constraints on them. They defended Clinton, despite his bold faced lying to the American people on national TV.

Well, so has Cruz. He can’t just “rip” up the Iranian deal or shut down the IRS either. Same with Obamacare - so your point is moot. These are goals - and plans. Cruz hasn’t really put forth any outlines that I’m aware of.

Just tell us what Trump said that was outside of his Constitutional authority?
Please tell.
Also, the Dems would not be kind to Cruz either.

Cruz is an actual constitutionalist and will work within its constraints. Democrats will squeal a lot but be pretty ineffective at doing much more than squealing.
As much of a mess as the republicans are, they aren’t going to impeach a man who operates within the constraints of the constitution even if only out of their own self interest.
