Please check out this YouTube video of Putin and Netanyahu bonding. They're entering into trade agreements and security agreements.
I'm grateful that Russia is taking Israel under their wing (somebody has to do it), but still sick about the situation.
By the body language alone, both leaders like one another a LOT more than either of them like Obama. Putin actually *smiled!* TWICE. (I didn't know that was possible)
RE: Putin & Netanyahu: Our ties are getting stronger and stronger
Please Bibi, TRUST BUT VERIFY !!
Better still : DISTRUST and VERIFY !!
Bibi is no fool.
As long as Obama is in office, Netanyahu must look to countries other than the U.S. with which to align.
The Soviet Union was supporting Israel it’s first several years.
Putin respects ex-commando Bibi.
it is interesting how they both talked about the Victory Day in Europe and the contribution of the Soviets in driving out the Nazis. Netanyahu is very wise and would not dream of not showing appreciation. The world should not diss Russia in this bright spot in their history, regardless of other evils of the Soviet Union and its leaders. Shame on our country for being the party poopers on that. I almost wonder if Obama did not only want to diss Russia, but also could not celebrate the defeat of the Jew killers. I don’t like even typing such a charge, but based on his actions, you have to wonder.
Beware, Bibi. We love you, believe in you and know you are no fool. Remember 2017 is right around the corner and you have friends here.
Trump: Iran Deal Requires U.S. Protecting Iran in Event of Israeli Strike
by Jacob Kornbluh
Sept 2, 2015
In a phone interview with CNN Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that theres something in the Iran deal that people dont understand saying if someone attacks Iran, we have to come to their defense.
Does that include Israel? Trump asked. And most people say yes, they dont have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe, the way it reads, unless they have a codicil or they have something to it, that we have to fight with Iran against Israel. ..."
Trump was most probably referring to language highlighted by the opponents of the deal. On page 142, the deal includes a clause that states, Co-operation through training and workshops to strengthen Irans ability to protect against, and respond to nuclear security threats, including sabotage, as well as to enable effective and sustainable nuclear security and physical protection systems.
Washington-based Center for Security Policy asserted that Annex III appears to commit the United States and other world powers to the defense of Irans nuclear program.

As the Pentagon warily eyes a Russian military build-up in Syria, Western intelligence sources tell Fox News that the escalated Russian presence began just days after a secret Moscow meeting in late July between Irans Quds Force commander their chief exporter of terror and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Fox News has learned Quds head Qassem Soleimani and Putin discussed such a joint military plan for Syria at that meeting, an encounter first reported by Fox News in early August. ...
The Quds Force is the international arm of Irans Revolutionary Guard, involved in exporting terrorism to Irans proxies throughout the Middle East including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. ...
Officials who have monitored the build-up say theyve seen more than 1,000 Russian combatants some of them from the same plainclothes Special Forces units who were sent to Crimea and Ukraine. Some of these Russian troops are logistical specialists and needed for security at the expanding Russian bases.

Tehran's deputy defense minister warns Jerusalem against strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, says 'any action by Zionist regime will bring about its destruction'
As speculations over a possible strike on Iran's nuclear facilities grow, the Islamic Republic is exacerbating its rhetoric.
Deputy Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi on Friday warned Israel against mounting such an attack: "Any act by the Zionist regime against Iran will bring about its destruction."
Hezbollah, he added, "Is at the forefront of the fight against Israel and it is growing stronger by the day."
Speaking at a ceremony honoring past Hezbollah commanders, Vahidi said that "Israel is weaker than it has ever been and its army is tired and humiliated... This is why it is trying to solve its problems by talking about taking action against Iran. But these are ridiculous statements.
"Iran's warriors are ready and willing to wipe Israel off the map," he declared. ..."
Exactly.
“As long as Obama is in office, Netanyahu must look to countries other than the U.S. with which to align.”
Horrible idea. Eventually the left wing party takes power with a commie as an ally. That sure will work out great. / sarc
Russia is wrong on Iran, just as “we” (choke) are. That does not mean they are wrong on Syria. I suspect Russia’s motive with Iran has a lot to do with the money being freed up. Russia needs trade partners since the West has worked to economically squash them. Just a guess. They must trade with someone. I still hate it. I still blame Obama most of all.
In fact, the Soviet Union voted YES for UN resolution 181 in 1947 which was a vote FOR the Palestine partion Palestine and the creation of the Israeli state.
The United States voted NO for the creation of Israel.
If the US had its way in 1947 there would be no Israel.
This is not all that surprising because the US State Department was and is full of Arabists and has always taken a pro-Arab position.
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Obama never learned that, I guess.
You mean you don't know or understand that Russia's intentions are to ultimately take over the Middle East and retake Eastern Europe? You don't know that KGB/FSB Putin misses the days of the old Soviet Union? That he wants to basically restore it, or something similar to it? That he believes mass-murderer Stalin deserves status in his honor?
