Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is maintaining his lead in the GOP race, according to a poll released by the Pew Research Center on Friday.
The real estate mogul garners 25 percent of the GOP vote, followed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 16 percent support.
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina are tied for third place with 8 percent. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) follows with 6 percent, then former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush with 4 percent.

Pew with Jeb in low single digits.
Panic time?
Trump has a steady lead that is not losing steam. The race is his to lose.
Bush, Fiorino and Rubio I think have hit their ceiling at about 8 percent...
His ‘money bags’ are leaving, and he will have to leave soon....before the debate so he doesn’t have to stand on his ‘tippy toes’ lolol
i’m surprised that Bush is as high as 4%.
If he actually puts in a few days with some experts from different fields, like foreign affairs, he will end up being the nominee, i think.
but what do i know :)
When will JEB! drop out? He will be at 0% by Christmas.
Jefferson Sessions as Vice President
Department of State, (return INS.) Donald Rumsfeld

Department of War, (change the name back.) Gen. James Mattis
Department of Interior, (includes legitimate functions only of former Transportation, Homeland Security - Border Patrol, and Energy Departments) Gov. Palin
Department of Health and Human Services (include the VA function.) Dr. Ben Carson
Department of Labor and Commerce ELIMINATE
Department of Homeland Security ELIMINATE
Department of Education ELIMINATE as proposed by The Donald, 9/23/25 at a Columbia, SC Town Hall with Sen. Tim Scott.
Department of Energy ELIMINATE
Department of Housing and Urban Development ELIMINATE
Department of Veterans Affairs - ELIMINATE
Department of Agriculture ELIMINATE
Department of Transportation - ELIMINATE
This proposed model has the President directly managing six subordinates which is optimal.
In non-cabinet level jobs
Sheriff Clarke should be FBI Director
Michelle Bachman as IRS Commissioner under Secretary Carl Icahn in Treasury
Admiral James A. Ace Lyons as Undersecretary of War - Navy Branch.
LTC Allen West as Undersecretary of War Army Branch.
Lynnette Diamond Hardaway and Rochelle Silk Richardson would be great as President Trumps Co-Press Secretaries.
In Congress lets have Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House,
and Ted Cruz as Senate Majority Leader.
If he falls bellow 3% he won’t qualify to the next debate.
His money bags are leaving, and he will have to leave soon....before the debate so he doesnt have to stand on his tippy toes lolol |
Poor Little ¡Yebbie! I wonder does he even know how stupid he looks? |
Thank You!!! lol....
FWIW, they don't use just one poll. They take an average of polls over an interval of time. Another point is look what happened when Fiorina wasn't eliblbe for the varsity stage for that second debate. No problem....the puppetmasters changed the rules.
We can be confident that the puppetmasters would change the rules for Jeb. It's become really insulting that we "little folk" don't agree with Jeb and don't even like Jeb, yet they're still trying to find a scheme to get him nominated.
As each paper is released it will
Go higher and higher. IMO
He listens to
Advisors.
Prayers from the preachers he met with recently are flooding cyberspace another source of strength in polls
Not even ‘voters or likely voters’?
Jeb at 4% !!!!!!!!
WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looking back to 2011 and the numbers were moving to Romney...similar numbers but far fewer players.
Trump has this if he can bring up his unfavorables. His opponents know his soft spots and will goad him...he usually falls for it but maybe he has learned.
