4chan intentionally will put up false names just to discover who is looking at the page, which they will then target with even more misinformation. Re-publishing anything you see on 4chan is almost always a fool’s errand.

Oh I do. Step one is always to affirm the existence of common humanity when it is dismissed. There usually isn't a step two, affirming common humanity usually pisses people off too much.
