Students said the shootings occurred in a classroom building called Snyder Hall.
Kortney Moore, an 18-year-old student, told the News-Review newspaper of Roseburg that she was in a writing class in Snyder Hall when her teacher was shot in the head.
The shooter told people to get on the ground and started asking them to stand up and state their religion, Moore told the newspaper.
It was mentioned on Savage that one of the heroes from the terrorist train attack in France is from Roseburg,OR. It will be interesting to see if this is true. Knowing the shooters name might tell us enough to connect the dots.
You’re confused. I asked if they’d ID the shooter. You know, released his ID to the media.
Of course cops and others likely knew who the suspect was within minutes of shooting him to death.

So we have two diverging shooter theories right now:
a) the “Egg” beta male mad at women and the world
b) Islamist retaliation against a hero Marine’s home town
I find it extremely puzzling that they are withholding details now that the shooter is down.
The fact that they are slow with details indicates to me that the investigation and danger is still active and other entities may be involved which would point to (b); but who knows.
