Gore thinking of running, too. Is he going to show up to debate?

So that makes him out of IT and out of the debate.

RE: So that makes him out of IT and out of the debate.

I don’t think it’s too late to announce that you are entering the race.

The main issue is this — How much money can he raise?

What Biden is doing is keeping a lot of dems from switching their allegiance to Sanders. They're waiting to see if Biden runs. Meanwhile, hillary behind the scenes racks up support; time is on her side.

I don't know if it's intentional or not on Biden's part. Perhaps he's just staying on the sidelines as the fill-in if hillary is too scandal-ridden or ill to run.

It wouldn’t be a fear of debating; Biden actually does reasonably well in that venue...

Yeah, like laughing thru it like a Cheshire cat.

I’d say Hillary is going to take a beating and he doesn’t want to be there to defend her. And that’s the deal he made with Obama....to reap the party support.

Biden keeps saying that personal or emotional issues are preventing him from deciding whether to run or not. I think that's BS. Biden made a decision months ago: he will run if Hillary is indicted or so severely damaged by scandal that she's unelectable. As long as only Republicans and conservatives are following the email issue closely, Biden doesn't want to risk his own reputation and the wrath of the pro-Hillary DNC by running. As the unofficial backup candidate, he will only run when he's given the green light to run, i.e. if and when the DNC cuts its losses with Hillary.

.

If Biden gets in his numbers go down. Any trash Hillary's got on him will be exposed AND he's NOT going to win...

If Biden stays out he becomes a Statesman... keeps his high numbers and Hillary kisses up to him. Biden will have more power as a Statesman than as a failed candidate...

Gore, on the other hand - has nothing to lose.

“And yet, Biden still can’t quite pull the trigger on a decision.”

Oh yeah, THAT’S the guy this country needs. *eyes rolling*

Why should Biden expose himself to a possible gotcha mistake? Hillary will make enough of them for both. If your adversary is committing suicide get out of the line of fire.

I meant...he’s out of it. Generally speaking and/or in regard to having all his marbles.

I thought each state had rules for getting your name on the ballot. Paperwork filings, signatures, etc. Some of the primaries are scheduled for early next year. Time is running out.

I actually think Biden doesn't want the job. He knows he is inheriting a complete disaster. Having the stress of President would put him in a grave early, not to mention his entire career will be thrown down the tubes. All people will remember is what happened to the country on his watch.

I think Biden wants to be anointed. And he just might get his wish.

He has to continue his main job: acting stupider than Obama.
That’s a full time, and very demanding job.

I think this is the reason why he is not on the debate. He will be another liability:
