Amid conflicting reports about Moscow targeting U.S.-alllied groups in Syria, GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said late Wednesday that she backs military readiness against Russian forces.
“I believe we must tell the Russians that we will conduct [and] we will secure a no-fly zone around anti-Assad rebel forces that we’re supporting,” she said on Fox News’s "Hannity."
“Does that mean we might use force against Russian jets?” host Sean Hannity then asked. “Well, hopefully not,” Fiorina responded. "Hopefully, if we are signaling clearly to the Russians are intention, it will not come to that.”
“But if it does come to that, I think we must be prepared,” the former Hewlett-Packard CEO added.

I agree that we must “be prepared” to use force against pretty much anyone. But actually using force is a matter for huge discussion. We have zero interests in Syria other than the human issue. Even then I see absolutely no reason to criticize Russia for bombing ISIS. Let them “have” Syria so to speak. It’s been theirs for about 50 years already.
I’ve got a daughter and a son-in-law serving. No way I would ever condone them fighting for Syria. Only country in the entire Middle East worth fighting for is Israel. And even then only as a last resort.

dungo tried to get us into this fight in 2012. It was a terrible idea then to confront Russia in their claimed area. It is also a bad idea to depose another dictator like Assad and further destabilize the region like was done by deposing Saddam.
dungo wants us in this fight because the Russians are siding with Iran, who he has sided with but he is also siding with the Saudis is all I can figure, the Sunni arabs who want to be rid of Assad who is neither sunni or shite...
It is all a mess and we need to stay out of it.

Islamic Front.....An alliance of seven terrorist groups who want to create an Islamic state but criticize ISIS for its brutal tactics.
US, UK, Saudi and other coalition forces....The coalition forces are fighting to defeat ISIS and oust Assad.
Russia.....Putin says Russia is attacking ISIS and supporting Assad.
Iran....Iranian troops have joined government forces and Hezbollah in 'a ground offensive' backed by Russian air strikes.... Iran wants to defeat ISIS and prop up Assad.
Trump is more likely to get us in a shooting war with the Russians than iCarly is.
