Amid conflicting reports about Moscow targeting U.S.-alllied groups in Syria, GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said late Wednesday that she backs military readiness against Russian forces.
I believe we must tell the Russians that we will conduct [and] we will secure a no-fly zone around anti-Assad rebel forces that were supporting, she said on Fox Newss "Hannity."
Does that mean we might use force against Russian jets? host Sean Hannity then asked. Well, hopefully not, Fiorina responded. "Hopefully, if we are signaling clearly to the Russians are intention, it will not come to that.
But if it does come to that, I think we must be prepared, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO added.

Really? So how would you characterize threats of nuclear war by Russia? Unappetizing? Ukraine has been contested by Russia as a breakaway internal state. We don't even have diplomatic relations with Syria, which has itself had diplomatic relations with Russia for fifty years. You're naive because you think nuclear retaliation is the same across the board. That's how you, and Carly, trigger an actual nuclear war.

The kal shoot down wasn’t during the Korean or Vietnam war. You still haven’t provided examples to back up your claim

Well said. The insanity of what she advocates boggles the mind. In the first place I have never seen Assad attack this country. What I see is clearly the Russians and our Nuke bob buddies, Iran killing isis. ( don't believe this crap about the free Syrian army - there were only 5 left) . I hate isis. There are currently 2 MILLION Christians in Syria. They all love Assad!! Isis wants to shoot them in the head if they are lucky or cut their throats otherwise. This is a "Holy war" according to the Rusiian Orthadox Church and I agree with that . Why would we be against Assad? It is absolutely unsubstantiated that he would or did “gas his people” That is BS!! Wake up. Even if he did ,we have no dog in that fight at all!! Isis used chlorine gas several times after that alledged incident which indicates THEY HAD IT!! Assad turned all of his chemical weapons over to the Russians long ago. How can our republicrat leaders be so screwed up (Except for Trump)?

Did Carly bother explaining exactly why American Mothers' son's lives should be lost to oust Assad? No, she missed on that point... The last thing we need is Obama being a 'war President'...

Lindsey Graham is also part of this Syria nonsense with McCain and FioRINO. Karl Rove, too.

Maybe she thinks she can make another $21 million like she did with HP

Yeah, remember how disappointed the war mongers were when Putin (& 85% of Americans) stopped their splendid little war in Syria? All of a sudden the poison gas story ... disappeared.
Next, came the coup in Ukraine.
I’m starting to get real paranoid about what the motives are for promoting war as far away as can possibly be.

The liberal media blackout on her insane Russia comments prove that FioRINO is the official Designated Loser.
They need to prop her up until after she is the nominee just like McCain and Romney.
Like the RioRINO , and your take. i agree

I don't know about journalists extracting or abstracting manufactured quotes like "We must be prepared to use force in Syria" out of this confused or confusing off-the-cuff exchange.
I guess that's what happens to presidential candidates -- they get asked questions they aren't prepared to answer and then get held to the responses they make -- but it sounds like people are making out that her ideas about Syria are more definite and thought-out than they actually are.

I know its not politically correct but women don’t have the aggressive gene necessary to be CNC and if they do, you really don’t want them to be in charge of sending our young men to war.

If we weren’t backing muslim extremists who are trying to overthrow Assad he would have already taken care of ISIS. In fact, I don’t believe ISIS would even be in Syria.
This country will never learn that some places just naturally must be ruled by dictators.
