Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump declared I love the fact that ISIS is being hit by Russia in an interview broadcast on Wednesdays CNN Tonight. Trump stated that Russia doesnt respect the US or President Obama, but At the same time, if they want to hit ISIS, thats okay with me.

Actually I agree with you. But Don's republican friends who may have their finances tied to the saudi oil business will be jumping out of windows soon.
I won't have the slightest sympathy when I see Saudi arabia and the oil prostitution business get annihilated. For the sake of money, we have sided with evil time and time again.
You may be right - it’s clear as day that those kids are simply serving as a funnel to get guns to the terrorists (i.e., ISIS). I cannot accept that our government doesn’t know that.
Yep
“ISIS is far worse than Assad ever was.”
Yep...not even close. Remember a couple of years back that Al Quieda (or however you spell it), ran for their lives from ISIS...and that says a lot!
The greatest nation on the face of the Planet. Incidentally, Washington gave his "no foreign entanglements" speech after signing a treaty with France.
Straight from Ashton Kutcher’s (Carter) mouth and CNN pravda.
Since all of those groups oppose Assad, I’d call it a good day.
It's on Fox too.
I know, I’ve lost all respect for Fox as well.
Except, Russia didn’t attack ISIS, but instead, dropped bombs where ISIS wasn’t, but our allies were, killing two or three dozen.
Moderate Syrian rebels = Unicorns
Russia is not bombing ISIS, at least not now - and may never attack them aside from a few strikes in an attempt to cover what they are really up to. Russia’s interest is to attack other rebel groups besides ISIS. Putin is not there to stop Islamic radicalism, he is there to prop up his ally Assad.
Ignorant statement from Mr. Trump who clearly doesn’t really understand what Russia is actually doing in Syria.
Careful Donald, this is a complex situation. Make sure you know all the players and all of the possible outcomes before you spout off. The middle east does not lend itself to easy analysis and prognostics. Foreign policy is clearly your weakest side. I trust you to do the right thing when your are briefed by experts, but in the meantime, tread carefully as you risk appearing amateurish.
“If obama had done what should have been done, it wouldnt be necessary. Right now, it is necessary.” -BC
YEP!
(BTW - many of the factions of ‘good rebels’ have merged with ISIS.)
....Yet Donald did do some “foreign policy” in the form of promising that a “massive wall” would be built along the USA/Mexico border and also about sending Syrians back.
Yep, that’s the end game here. Prove to the Saudis and the Gulf States that only Mother Russia can protect them from Jihadist wackos. They become Putin’s b*tch and he becomes King of All Oil.
Actually the only one to call what Russia was going to do was Marco Rubio.Predicted as much on the last debate.
They are not bombing ISIS they are bombing rebels opposed to Assad...the ones we were supposed to be training.
Trump is clueless.
>> Theyre not bombing ISIS, theyre bombing the other groups opposed to Assad <<
Facts, mere facts. We don’t need no stinking facts. Dear Leader Trump can do no wrong. Get over it.
Carly's is so much better. She said she'd tell Putin to pound sand and this is where our military will operate. Hannity asked if she meant war with Russia and she said she hopes not. We need more than that before we start WWIII.
Also, what Trump is saying is that better Russia take ISIS out than nobody (current situation thanks to Obama). He says they're evil and he's right. He also says they're on Russia's border and Putin doesn't want any part of them.
Rubio’s take as of last night:
“Marco Rubio predicted Russia’s move into Syria to prop up President Bashar al-Assad.
On “The Kelly File” tonight, Rubio explained that it had been previously reported that Russia was positioning air assets in Syria. He said it was clear why, and it wasn’t to go after the Islamic State.
“They may conduct some operations against ISIS, but this is not about ISIS,” Rubio said. “This is about propping up Assad, who is a client state of both Iran and Vladimir Putin.”
Rubio explained that the purpose of the airstrikes is to position Russia as the most important outside power broker in the region, replacing the U.S.
Rubio added that choosing Assad over ISIS, as Donald Trump seemed to suggest on “The O’Reilly Factor” last night, is a terrible idea.
“I dont think the choice should be Assad or ISIS. I think they both need to go.”
Don’t tell the Donald
