I see an intense rate of intermarriage and cross-ethnic friendships all over. My kids friends for instance. My boys old neighborhood gang was - one Filipino-Spanish-Mexican (my kid), one Norwegian by way of Chicago, one Chinese and one Brazilian. That’s not strange at all in San Francisco. Catholic parochial schools are similarly cosmopolitan. Public schools self segregate a lot more.

I see them too. I'm in one and my kids are bi-racial.

And I'll stand by my claim that society is generally fracturing along ethic lines.

They’ll have an uphill climb. Texas students = 59% Hispanic, 29% White and 4% Asian.

and many more.

Not all Asians are Oriental.

East and South Asians have a political profile similar to the Jewish electorate: high income, yet politically liberal. What is interesting is that as the Asian population has grown, it has become more susceptible to liberal arguments, e.g., fear of so-called micro aggressions and self pity regarding past injustices, real or imagined.
