Many within the GOP establishment including Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and Kentucky Senator Rand Paul are finally waking up to an inconvenient truth. Namely, this election cycle is a season for outsiders. As Donald Trump, Carly Fiorina, and Ben Carson surge in the polls, certain candidates who enjoyed mass quantities of encouragement and support from the Republican old guard are falling by the wayside with increasing speed, like Texas Governor Rick Perry, who many Republicans viewed as a shoo-in for the nomination and who suspended his campaign two weeks ago. Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a favorite among social conservatives, followed suit a short time later, calling on his fellow republicans to band together and take frontrunner Donald Trump out of contention for the good of the party.

What? Many Republicans thought this? Who?
Trump
Cruz
Carson
Fiorina
Rubio
And as much as it pains me to say it, Jebbie.
You are probably right and only the top two are on the side of the citizens and the rule of law. The rest want to change the laws to benefit those breaking them.
Agreed. Rande really did nothing in this run, except kill any chance he ever had at being POTUS.
George Pataki: Someone needs to tell him it’s 2015, not 1995. Wow...
Wonder if the only ones left standing will be Trump, Carson, Fiorina and Bush. Seems likely.
Jindal is a natural born citizen and therefore was eligible and allowed to run.
At this point I’d say that is a good possibility.
I think Jindal would actually be a very good President, but he’s just not catching on. Pataki, Graham, and Gilmore(is he really out there anywhere?) also need to give it up. Huck is close to that point, except that he does have a following in the evangelical community. My guy, Cruz, is floundering with about 6 to 8% in the polls, but he has money and is the best debater, so he needs to hang in. Hopefully, as the field narrows and the debate moderators cannot keep him from talking, people will see how great a President he would be.
Jindal is on my short list. I think that his moral stances added greatly to the national conversation. I wish him well.
Who?
Legalizing weed in the hopes that everyone is high enough to consider electing him President.
Take Amigo Rubio with ya’s......
Agree—he is an anchor baby.
Put him in a important cabinet post.
I’m looking at Cruz/LT COL ALLEN WEST. One knows the value of the US Constitution to a T, the other knows how to kill terrorist. Have we forgotten how he got his men taken prisoner back. Our Military that 0 has decimated needs a strong voice for them, and Lt COL WEST is that man.
He is no whuz, pansy like colin powell.
It probably requires a bit of honest self awareness and grit to drop out. Puttacky, Linda and Gilmore will hang on until the long shepards hook grabs em.
Grahamnesty is the RINO spoiler.
I don’t see any of the so called old liking Bobby. He is plain spoken and truthful as a result nobody likes him.
I hope that Gov. Jindal stays in the race and lays low until the field thins out. We are running out of experienced conservative governors and I am running out of candidates to support.
Where’d you get that?
From what I hear his parents were naturalized, but he was natural born here to legal immigrants.
Summer is over and Eddie Haskell can’t afford to miss anymore high school this year.
