Boehner unloads on the ‘false prophets’ in his party that have made his job a nightmare

ouse Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) did not attempt to disguise his displeasure with the hardliners in his own caucus that claimed credit for his stunning resignation.

"Face The Nation" host John Dickerson on Sunday asked Boehner about the conservative House coalition with which Boehner was constantly feuding, and whether they had unrealistic expectations.

"Absolutely they're unrealistic!" Boehner blurted. "But the Bible says beware of false prophets. And there are people out there spreading noise about how much can get done."

It got so bad Boehner couldn’t even enjoy getting a drunk on with the Conservatives messing it up. :-)

"...d there are people out there spreading noise about how much can get done."

It's called degradation of the norm. Boehner had become too comfortable with "how much can get done" within the rules of engagement and processes that they set up for themselves.

We need fresh thinking in Congress; people who aren't boxed into the thought processes that are limiting Republicans today.

So the main stream media has invited their trained monkey on a Martyr of Civil Discourse tour of the talk shows.
Poor Mr. Boehner! Tell us again about those vile and wicked Tea Party Pirates that made you walk the plank!

Lack of initiative leads to behavior that is fearful, unassertive, passive, overly compliant, meek, and submissive. That is what Dums and libtards want.

Among the first executive orders by a President Trump.

No one ever connected by office or employment to the government State or Federal may in anyway lobby for anything on behalf of anyone.
One week notice, bye bye.

What would the average cost of a Special Election be?
A couple hundred thousand, maybe? Some States, like Michigan and Ohio don’t have a big budget to begin with.

Don’t underestimate McCarthy...he’s a very slimy, motivated and conspiratorial bastard.

I am very concerned about what he will be able to “accomplish” if he’s named Speaker...he’s cut from a different mold and more aggressive.

“...more of the same.” might be what we would be wishing for if McCarthy gains the seat.

He specifically referenced promises by his GOP colleagues in 2013 that they would be able to get rid of Obamacare through the process of funding the government - a tactic which ultimately led to the 16-day government shutdown that fall.

"This plan never had a chance. But over the course of the August recess in 2013 and the course of September, a lot of my Republican colleagues who knew it was a fool's errand, they were getting a lot of pressure at home to do this. And so we got groups here in town, members, the House and Senate here in town who whipped people into a frenzy believing they could accomplish things that they know, they know are never going to happen," he said.

I am starting to think Boehner is just slow, lazy or a drunkard. In his diatribe he misses the whole point.

In 2013, Boehner was sitting on a public relations gold mine.

Obama had:

During this time Bohener disappeared from view, assuring us that conservatives would have no representation from their elected officals

this is what really makes me sick is the taking of bribes openly with in the political parties PLURAL both democrat and republican. there needs to be a real house cleaning in Washington and some serious jail time for those that are involved. unfortunately I think it is so rampant that the only time people get upset is when the person taking favors and payouts is not doing what we the public think should be done.

The problems you have with trying to clean up and use jail time is that those you would apply that to would threaten those that would do such a thing with proof of something the accusers did themselves that should also have them out or in jail.

So, again I say, if you worked for government or in state or federal office you are banned as a lobbyist.

Of the many reasons the bonehead is quitting, one has to be the criminal indictment the Congress will have to issue in light of the new e-mail evidence and will of course have to circumvent the DOJ. There is likely much more damning evidence known by Bonehead, thus he will be left no alternative but to take legal action on Hillary in the very near future. No wonder he quit, it’s good to be above ground.

I am honestly surprised it took him that long to start criticizing conservatives. We have traditionally given our leaders nick names to describe their tenacity. I suggest we call him, “Ol’ tooth and nails.” You knew he was going to surrender as soon as he said he would fight, “Tooth and nails.”

I agree along with anyone related to the person ie brother or sister. that would mean that if you chose to be a lobiest and a relative went into politics you would have to choices. stop lobbying or give up all contact with that politician. meaning that any contact that politician had with a relative would be illegal for both involved.
