All of this nonsense makes me wonder not why I’m a Catholic but why I’m a member of Free Republic? What is the point? It is only for born-agains. I’m tired of the hate. And, yes, I know: I won’t let the door hit me.

That’s NOT the question. The question is will the rest of Catholics embrace conservatism. Millions of Catholics have always been conservatives.
