I had to endure the same cleansing (personally) as a (former) member of the ELCA. If you can handle the leadership of the Pope, stick with it, and pray for change in the next Pope; otherwise, it is a difficult position to defend, no doubt.

No hate. As an ex-Catholic I wish it was the true church, but it's not. That's why I fled it. And there are a lot of ex-Catholics who are "watchmen on the wall" trying to get Catholics to open your eyes and read the Bible and see all the ways that Cathocism is contradictory to God's word. It may be Satan's greatest work of deception ever.

I hate this pope, not because he’s Catholic, and not just because he’s a commie - but because he is preaching lies and misery to you and your fellow Catholics - and doing what may be irreparable harm to your religion.

The Catholic Church will not recover easily from this guy, this Argentinian pretending to be a man, and your next pope will not be able to fix the damage, nor the next one after him.

Stay here at FR, be tolerant of other religions, and insist that others be tolerant of yours.

You have to be kidding....this is more fun than a human being should be allowed to have.....watching people try their best to defend the indefensible, try to excuse their extremely poor decisions over the years, try to explain away direct Biblical admonitions "THIS IS MY BODY" is fascinating!!!
