My ten year old told me she wanted to organize the kids in her class to support Carly Fiorina. Ms. Fiorina’s speech was the only Presidential speech at the RedState Gathering that my daughter wanted to hear. She’s a big fan. In fact, Fiorina’s 2016 Presidential campaign has been very impressive and she has been sharp. Her debate performances have been impressive. The points she has made on life and limited government have been spot on.
But I still have concerns about Carly Fiorina. Conservatives who want to hold up Donald Trump’s prior positions should do the same to Carly Fiorina. To the extent she has evolved, we should know. In fact, it is hard to label Carly Fiorina an outsider when she was the candidate the National Republican Senatorial Committee rallied to for the California Senate race in 2010. Fiorina then joined on to the NRSC in a formal capacity as Vice Chair after her loss at a time the NRSC was battling conservatives across the country, smearing candidates, and blacklisting conservative organizations and campaign teams that failed to get on board with men like Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) 36% and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) 58%. Fiorina was also the Republican the DC-GOP trotted out to join the pile on against Rush Limbaugh during the Sandra Fluke controversy.

I really think people need to start considering that conservatives are going to win and keep winning, and that the establishment GOP AND Democrat party, as well as the media are NOT going to win
They will put up a fight like clash of the titans, but conservatism is right, it has logical, wise, intelligent AND successful people on board.
Fiorina is running on her place within the establishment.
They thrive on the media’s help and approval.
THey will all find out that the media only has so much power over conservative opinion, the rest is common sense, which the media and the establishment do not have.
She will be done, Rubio will drop out and Fox will be a confused mess scrambling for an audience.

It’s over. Conservatives already know that women can do the job when it comes to merit.
Conservatives are not bigoted nor racist, and that goes both ways.
We see where this is going, and voting someone in there on identity politics is not going to do it. The identity politics will be secondary.
As it always does with Republicans, who should be used to not getting media/mob rule approval for such things.
How great would it be, for instance, to have a baby boomer get in and really fix this mess?
Anyway, conservatives have had enough and they have enough common sense, the only ones it seems, to see clearly that this needs a serious person, who will not betray the country- its founding principals

Crudeness of comment aside, there are mothers out there (they are still out there), managing or trying to manage household budgets, college tuition, joblessness within their families, pressures on their husbands and the insanity of the public school system, looking at prices, automatic payments notwithstanding, who are just not going to care enough about Fiorina’s being a girl when she has serious competition, which she does, statistical manipulation or not.
Failure? Loser?
Yup. Trying to redeem himself. Wont’ work.
So what’s the challenge here - to support Carly to the mental understanding of a ten year old girl?
Or reduce us to thinking like ten year old girls?
