Just look at the stats. Catholics are too liberal compared to other Christians. And unlike the Jews, they can’t blame emigration to Israel for thinning out their conservative ranks. It’s part of their tradition.
And I’m Catholic and went to Catholic school. Way too many of those Catholic school alumni are raging liberals today as adults.

I remember when Ann Coulter said something offending Jews last week and Mark Levin called her a “jack...” and Michael Medved said, “This is shameful.” While both men are brilliant, both showed pride.
You can’t paint Catholics with a broad brush. The Pope is a liberal. But look at Scalia and Alito. They are very valuable, conservative Catholics.
Most of the raging liberal Catholics I know no longer attend Mass.
Is fine if the church is liberal (I am Catholic myself) & performs its services to.the community while upholding the teachings.
However, what is not acceptable is pushing liberalism onto a population by governmental force which is the opposite of free will and the church should not be promoting liberalism in government.
And also unlike the Jews, they can blame the invasion of Catholics who have been indoctrinated heavily with generations of Socialism and worse in countries where 'dissident' priests are killed for diluting their Conservative ranks. I, too am a Catholic.
