Agreed. This was scripted. The worst one I saw was during the 2002 Senate race between Dick Durbin and Jim Durkin. They visited a grade school and some 10 year old kid "spontaneously" asked the Republican candidate: "In a nation of such wealth and prosperity, why can't we afford universal health care for all Americans?"
