What Trump Should Have Said
PJ Media ^ | 9-21-2015 | Andrew C. McCarthy

How ironic that, with all the offensive things Donald Trump says, it is something he did not say that is breaking the outrage bank.

Trump is under fire for failing, at one of his campaign events, to refute an overheated audience member who asserted that President Obama is a Muslim and was not born in the United States. Trump did not make these claims or concur in them. He simply decided it was not his job to defend Barack Obama from claims that Obama himself has played no small part in provoking. Trump, instead, ignored the allegations and went on with what he wanted to say: blather about how he was looking into the possibility that radical Muslims are training inside the United States to conduct terrorist attacks here (something that is not merely possible but has been proved in terrorism prosecutions about a zillion times since I first did it 20 years ago).

As one would expect, our Islamophilic political establishment is in high dudgeon: demands for Trump to apologize have come from Trump competitors with troubling records of cuddling up to Islamists – e.g., Hillary Clinton, Chris Christie and Lindsey Graham; and from Obama’s slavish media, which has never judged worthy of examination either the president’s misrepresentations about his background or his extensive personal ties to Islam … notwithstanding his seven-year record of lies about policy objectives and extensive appeasement of Islamic supremacists.

We should thus be under no illusions about the charge against Trump. His offense is not that he failed to correct the record. It is that he failed to parrot, with due indignation, the Obama-decreed, political class-certified response, to wit: These allegations are completely baseless and anyone who utters them should be exiled from polite society.

Senator Obama slips up and says “my Muslim faith” in an interview with George Stephanopoulus:

In his own words: Barack Obama on Christianity and Islam
By Thomas Lifson

A website called Now The End Begins has compiled 40 comments by Barack Obama on Christianity and Islam. Collectively, they create quite an interesting picture. I admit that there may be instances of the president speaking as favorably of Christianity as he does of Islam, but I am not aware of them. I do remember in the 2008 campaign that he said he had accepted Jesus Christ as his savior, and that was in response to public awareness of his attendance at Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church, Trinity United. What the president left unsaid is the nature of Jesus as understood in Black Liberation Theology. But that is a discussion for another time.

The list has been reprinted here and here. (hat tip: iOwnTheWorld.com). See what you think:

1. “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”

2. “The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”

3. “We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country.”

4. “As a student of history, I also know civilization’s debt to Islam.”

5. “Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance.”

6. “Islam has always been part of America”

7. “we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities”

8. “These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam’s role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.”

9. “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.”

10. “I made it clear that America is not – and will never be – at war with Islam.”

11. “Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism – it is an important part of promoting peace.”

12. “So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed”

13. “In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.”

14. “Throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.”

15. “Ramadan is a celebration of a faith known for great diversity and racial equality”

16. “The Holy Koran tells us, ‘O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another.’”

17. “I look forward to hosting an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan here at the White House later this week, and wish you a blessed month.”

18. “We’ve seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants – farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities, the Muslim innovators who helped build some of our highest skyscrapers and who helped unlock the secrets of our universe.”

19. “That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as president of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.”

20. “I also know that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

(maybe someone-hopefully Trump-will steal this like others have been stealing my stuff lately...)

Trump should say: "I think Obama's a Jew! And so is his handler, Valerie Jarrett. It's a secret, because if Iran ever found out they were negotiating with Jews, it may kill this whole ridiculous missile deal, you know?"

You've probably seen this video, but just in case you haven't there it is. A montage of short clips that have captured BHO in his own words, as you quoted (above).

What Trump should have said was simple:

“You know, unlike Hillary I don’t screen who comes to my events. They’re open to the anyone who can get a ticket. Sometimes people say things that others don’t agree with. That’s called Freedom of Speech. Look it up.”

Although Obama has sealed who he is, Titus 1:16 gives Christians a “license” to judge somebody by their actions. And since lawless Obama is pro-LGBT agenda and pro-abortion, he’s not a Christian imo.

Islam and America....

During the depths of the Little Ice Age our founding fathers had to deal with the same Dark Age mentality of Islam. The Muslim States had been enslaving both American ships and crews and demanding ransom for their return and future safe passage.

The level of tribute demanded reached 10 percent of the entire American national budget.

In 1785 both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams went to London to meet Ambassador Abdrahaman (Tripoli). They inquired by what right the Barbary States preyed upon American shipping. His response:

“It was written in their Koran, that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every Mussulman who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to paradise. He said, also, that the man who was the first to board a vessel had one slave over and above his share, and that when they sprang to the deck of an enemy’s ship, every sailor held a dagger in each hand and a third in his mouth; which usually struck such terror into the foe that they cried out for quarter at once.”
Adams argued for paying the ransom. America was exhausted and broke from the revolutionary war and lost its naval protection provided by France (Treaty of Alliance). It wasn’t until Jefferson was elected (1801) that America finally had the naval power to fight back. The Barbary Wars finally ended under the presidency of James Madison in 1815.

“It is a settled policy of America, that as peace is better than war, war is better than tribute. The United States, while they wish for war with no nation, will buy peace with none.” President Madison.

“There is no indication that Obama has ever affirmed Islam as an adult, and he says that he is a Christian. Therefore he is a Christian. Period.”

Anyone ever notice that, although it is generally well known that Obama has a tendency to avoid telling the truth about anything, his claim that he is a Christian is taken on a par with a prayer book. Strange. If he were a Muslim, does anyone think he would own up to it? And how would his actions be any different if he was an admitted Muslim?

If Obama had said "McCain didn't make an issue of my Christian faith", it would have made NO sense....why would McCain, a Christian, make an issue of Obama being a Christian!!

Obama SAID "my Muslim faith" because he MEANT MY MUSLIM FAITH!!! Nothing else makes sense in that sentence!

This seems like an issue made to order for Trump. I would love to ear him ask why the president is so ashamed of being part of the Muslim faith. Why is he doing his best to imply he would not be caught dead as a Muslim.

As hard as the media is trying to disassociate Obama from being Muslim, they are appearing more bigoted and racist than anyone. I don’t understand why Muslim groups don’t rise up and ask Mr. President why he is so ashamed of being associated with the Muslim faith. He and the media are fighting tooth and nail not to be labeled Muslim. Is Obama a bigot?
