“The fallacy that President Obama is a Muslim has tripped up many a politician,” said NPR’s Jessica Taylor hopefully on Friday, “and on Thursday night, GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump was its latest victim.”
Trump’s presumed faux pas was his failure to correct a questioner who asserted that Barack Obama was a Muslim. Taylor’s real error as a reporter, like that of all her mainstream colleagues, was to dismiss the questioner’s assertion as a “fallacy” without providing any evidence to the contrary.
Strange but true, reporters pride themselves on knowing nothing about Obama’s roots. Last month, for instance, Catherine Thompson of the popular progressive blog, Talking Points Memo, interviewed me about an article I had written on the subject of Republican presidential eligibility.
Weary of her obvious condescension, I asked her where Obama spent the first year of his life. “Indonesia?” she answered. “No,” I said, “Seattle.” I asked her to survey her colleagues on the same question. Not surprisingly, this was the one exchange she edited out of the interview.
Obama’s word, whether on his birth or his faith, is good enough for the center-left media. Although they have chosen to know as little as possible about Obama’s Muslim legacy, the legacy is real. “Barry was a Muslim,” his third grade teacher told the Los Angeles Times in 2007,” and he did, in fact, register in school in Indonesia as one.
In his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, Obama gratuitously used the Arabic “Andalusia” when referring to Spain. In September 2008, in a conversation with George Stephanopoulos set up to quell such rumors, Obama slipped up and referred to “my Muslim faith” before Stephanopoulos quickly intervened to correct him.

The irony is that if Cruz, Palin, or any conservative did something that appeared unchristian, the left/media would tear them up.
They are already questioning Trumps faith. The double standard is appalling.

Immediately, Obama in response to the chanting made a perfect formed Usbu al-Shahada – the Finger of Shahada.
The Shahada is the fundamental declaration of Muslim faith. "There is only one God and Muhammad is his messenger."
Many of the African delegates where shocked because the Usbu al-Shahada is the non-verbal profession of the Muslim faith.

I think his true dedication is to the destruction of western civilization, as far as it can be accomplished in 8 years. Any religion is an impediment to that.

I don’t think Muslims around the world think Obama is an apostate. They know by Muslim law he is a Muslim. They can see how he sides with Muslim issues. They probably feel he needs to hide his Muslim faith because of his job. They are ok with that.

It’s not what he says, it is what he does. Can anyone dispute that Olabba does more for the Moslims then he has ever done for Christians. Besides read his book.

This hand sign was definitely a response to the person saying Allahu Akbar behind him. It was so fast and, presumably to Obama, away from the camera so as to assume no one outside of his group of leaders would ever see it. Amazingly, that one reporter did. It looks like some of those African leaders saw it and looked somewhat surprised.
Looking at the video it was as if someone said a team slogan like “Hook em horns” and Obama did a quick agreement with the hand sign but super fast in case others around were supporting a different team. You know? Like he wanted to get his Muslim “cool” cred in, but discreetly.
When the peons decide to take away all the money from the ‘rich”, they consign themselves to poverty ten-fold! Of course, if one of them is in the forefront of the take over, they reap the benefits in millions of dollars. “Let the peons use their hands instead of t-paper”
