I was a Walker supporter early on. The reason the immigration thingy looms so large is the fact that in about ten years, if nothing is done, we'll have a permanent demographic majority for the Democrats and, as a result, one-party rule in perpetuity. They flee Mexico to escape one-party rule and will - through their own lack of education and ability to apply logic - bright the very same third-world latrine right here within our own borders. It's happening already in California, south Texas, and elsewhere.

1. Clear and present existential threat from Iran; and 2. Immigration.

The moral depravity (sodomite marriage, systematic infanticide) are causal in a broad teleological sense (God's judgment) and symptomatic in a narrower contemporary sense; failure to address 1. and 2. will ensure not only their continuation but our own death spiral into bondage and misery when we will pine for the freedom we once knew.

Funny, Rev Wright who knew him better than Jeb, said he was a patrilineal Muslim, and studied Islam, but in Chicago studied Christianity and is probably a Christian. Probably because he never went through whatever formalities the United Church of Christ requires.

Personally I don't care, he may be a Christian, there are plenty of liberal Christians who share his views. That's why he's President. And he clearly has a close affinity to Muslims, which would be understandable having been raised in Islam at least till he went to live with his grandparents. The issue with his policies is his liberalism, not his version of Christianity or Islam. I think he worships himself.
