Carly Fiorina Supports DREAM Act, but Says She's Against "Amnesty"
California's Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina said last night that she would support the DREAM Act, an immigration measure that aims to help undocumented students. Her remarks set her apart from more conservative Republican candidates this year who are taking a hard line on immigration. They also highlighted the limited bipartisan support the DREAM Act has received, even as comprehensive immigration reform appears out of reach.

Can’t understand how they even had a “happy hour” debate in the first debate, thought they had agreed to only take a certain number of candidates, take the top polling ones.
Fiorina is going after her Univision connected donor’s pleasure, and the Democrat women’s vote.
She would do great in the Democrat primary. She is not going anywhere in ours because she can not get around the conservative base, who knows her personal story, and what she’s up to now.
So let me get this straight: She gives one of the most passionate and eloquent anti-abortion speeches heard on TV in a generation, and you choose to quibble with the word “fetus”?
As it relates to defunding PP, she seems pretty clear and resolute to me:
“This is about the character of our nation, and if we do not stand up and force President Obama to veto this bill, shame on us.”
And I don’t know why her “being angry” about this is a bad thing - most FReepers are too. Are you not?
Oh I ma angry, but that does not mean I trust her at all. How many times have we heard people say something for dopes to think they are telling the truth?
She is a social liberal and has no background against any of this social liberal issues.
Like I said when the media and the establishment are pushing her then I know I will not support her , nor will any of my family.
They will care about the people she laid off though and all the money she got in the process.
People are also crediting her for the not talk with Putin vs. talk with Putin difference.
Not sure that she is right and Trump is wrong on that one.
If things ever go to the upper Defcon levels is no conversation really better than conversation.
Carly is thinking she will be invited to the big party if she can solidify a credential she can take California for the GOP.
She thinks she needs to do some Hispanic appeasement to do that as they outnumber whites in that state
I doubt CA will go Republican, as it is a basket case, hopelessly lost to the liberal mindset of high taxes, large public pensions, and environmental Nirvana.

Trump did make a bad mistake with the comment on her face.
Not what the whole thing should get decided over though.

She moved to Virginia a purple state to make her more palatable as a purple state VP selection. One master manipulator she is!
Face comment not an error. She never smiles. Looks angry with narrow eyes. Mean even ! Am certain I’m not the only one who took a good look at her face during debate. In one interview after she defended her lack of smile.
I support my own brand of dream act.
I’m acting like my dream is to have a White House without Carley in it in my lifetime.
Likeability might be a factor with whoever the candidate is and whoever the VP candidate is.
When she choose a horse as her code name thus setting up an obvious horseface reference, it hit me she would portray furious and employ the injured woman defense if a man had chosen the name for her. She is quite the manipulator.
