Remember that the republican Establishment did this before, in 1980 with John Anderson.
It was laughable. Reagan still won 44 states, and swept the senate into republican control for the first time since 1954 and significantly increased the republican numbers in the House.

It wouldn’t surprise. The establishment are utterly without honor or integrity.

Romney would not even get 1%

Panic? Please. Trump will chuckle & carry on.

I KNEW Donald should have gotten loyalty oath from Rinse when he made his loyalty oath.
Won't make any difference, though. Milt Romley is about as exciting as a warm bucket of spit.

If GOPe pulls this stunt, the party will go the way of the Whigs, replaced by an American version of UKIP.

Huckabee, Pataki,Graham, Gilmore and Santorum are all scratching their heads: “Romney is talking 3rd party to block Trump? They told me that’s what I was here for!”
To: cotton1706
John Anderson! Been trying to remember his name all afternoon long. He ran as an Independent.

If true, this proves they are less concerned with winning than the possible upsetting of the gravy train.

Ah finally! The GOPe Hillary for President kicks off!

Let’s stop sending out all this GOPe bull***t anymore.

why not just get bush to run as a democrat Before it's over the republican establishment will be trying to recruit Lyin' Lizie Warren or Lois Lerner to run for them.
Anyone other than a reformer who promises to upset their corrupt system.

You probably say that in jest, but I did float the idea back in early summer of a Democrat ticket of Clinton/Bush and a Republican ticket of Bush/Clinton. I was not jesting, joking or anyway being flippant. I was dead serious.
That seems to be the way the UniParty really wants things to be.
