Questioner to Trump: What are you going to do about the problem in this country called Muslims?
Hotair ^ | 09/18/2015 | AllahPundit

The media’s got a fee-vah this morning and the only prescription is this clip. A few random thoughts that you can assemble as you see fit.

One: If you believe that PPP poll taken last month, people who think Obama’s a Muslim are not only a majority of Trump’s base, they’re a majority of the GOP overall. Even if you question the numbers, there’s no denying that there are plenty of them out there. Which is to say, there’s no reason to think this guy is a plant just because he’s surprising Trump with a question guaranteed to put him on the spot.

Two: That said, this is so over the top, not just in the rhetoric (“when can we get rid of them?”) but in the speaker’s inflections, that it does play like some sort of prank. If you were intent on Mobying Trump at a Q&A for maximum embarrassment, this is precisely the question you’d ask. But then, that makes me wonder — did the audience even know there’d be a Q&A? Trump hasn’t done that before at his events and as far as I know it wasn’t advertised yesterday that he’d be doing one. There’s no way it was a prank if the audience didn’t know in advance they’d get a turn at the mic.

Three: Trump says nothing to challenge the guy (although he does mock the outlandishness of it when he exclaims “we need this question?”), which you can take as evidence that he (a) agrees with him about Obama and Muslims, (b) doesn’t agree but knows that many in the audience do and is afraid to alienate them, or (c) is humoring the guy by promising some sort of nonspecific action so that he can move on to a real question. (Pols confronted by 9/11 Truthers in the heyday of Trutherism 10 years ago, asking them if they’d support re-opening an investigation into the attack, tended to react the same way.) I think it’s a combo of (b) and (c), although given Trump’s status as America’s most famous Birther, you can’t rule out (a) either.

Four: When Trump tells the guy he’s going to be “looking at a lot of different things” as president, I took that not as a response to what the guy said about getting rid of Muslims but as a reply to what he said about terror training camps. No way to tell, though, and as I say, there’s no disputing that he didn’t challenge him on the “get rid of them” point. On the other hand, for a guy who’s slammed by the media as a vulgar racial demagogue, Trump hasn’t said much on the trail about, say, shari’a that could be taken as incitement against Muslims. On the contrary, when Sean Hannity asked him what to do about the Syrian refugee crisis, his initial response was that we need to take more refugees as a simple humanitarian matter. “He’s laying off Muslims because he’s too busy inciting people against Latinos with cracks about Mexican rapists,” a lefty would say. Okay, but even there, the big plan to deport 11 million illegals to Mexico involves letting the vast majority of them back in. Don’t get me wrong: The “white nationalists for Trump” subculture is a real thing, as you know if you frequent Twitter, and clearly he’s done something to stoke that. My point is, Trump’s own feelings on minorities are likely more complicated than his worst fans’.

Fifth and finally: Our fearless media surely isn’t going to do a big story about a major politician entertaining theories about whether Obama’s a Muslim without mentioning the role of Hillary’s 2008 campaign in feeding them, right? Hillary Clinton herself once famously denied that there was any evidence that Obama was a Muslim before adding a pointed “as far as I know.” And yet, and yet…

Donald Trump not denouncing false statements about POTUS & hateful rhetoric about Muslims is disturbing, & just plain wrong. Cut it out. -H

— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) September 18, 2015

The media’s fee-vah over the Trump story had better include a paragraph or two about which presidential candidate this year did the most to popularize this theory. Because it ain’t Trump.

In lieu of an exit question, free advice to Trump from Joel Pollak: The next time someone asks you if Obama’s a Muslim, tell ‘em, “No, silly. He went to that horribly racist, anti-American Christian church for 20 years, remember?”

Good point. Which is actually worse? Being a Muslim or a 20 year member of Rev. Wright’s “church”?

Tempest in a teapot. When are we going to hear the Dems criticize the local authorities in sanctuary cities for not obeying the law? Since when is it up to Trump to correct a questioner about Obama’s religious beliefs? The MSM never vetted Obama. We still don’t have an authentic BC nor have we ever seen his school records.

The answer to the question is:

“The problem we have is not with Muslims. There are plenty of Muslims living great lives with us, here in America.

Our problem is with “Extreme Islamic Terrorists” who hate us for our tolerance and freedom.

So, do not lump all believers in Islam into a single category. Let us focus on those who wish us harm.”

Why is this so difficult.

Because that's not the problem.

The problem is that Islam itself doesn't differentiate between your two categories, and neither do Muslims.

If he had just said “there’s problem in this country called Christians”...all woulda been OK. Hillary wouldn’t demand an apology and Obama might even invite him to the WH.

That guy was a schill, setup for the sole purpose of characterizing Trump as someone “Who didn’t”...

Mark my words, he will be exposed.

Once again I will ask how many Christians wear a ring inscribed with the Shahada? “There is no god but Allah”

Well I'm pretty sure what most of the other candidates will do...

Meanwhile back in the stands it looked like that guy was a ringer to me.

What did he call Trump-I thought I heard birth certificate man...

Obviously, the questioner was a plant. The cadence and the precise wording of the question makes it a dead give-away. At first I thought he was sent by GOPe, whether a candidate or not. After hearing Hillary’s comment, it’s pretty clear her campaign was the culprit.

It shouldn’t take long to identify the connection.

We allow them here because we do not allow for an “official” religion. All of our lives, we lived together because no one would think about “trying to convert” someone else.

I have to tell you that I agree that is no longer the case. I have had as many Christians try to “convert” me, without even knowing my beliefs.

Sure, none of them tried to kill me. Some of them almost bored me to death. ha Ha.

But, my point is that as a nation we are incredibly tolerant. One of the things we risk with uninhibited immigration is that we are no longer a melting pot, but rather a centrifuge—with each group clumping up with like kinds.

For a supposed military guy, you have some serious fundamental problems with the history of IslamMuslims.

Wrong. If you're a leftist, you don't have anything else to do; it's not like you have a job. You use your food stamps to score a big bag of M&Ms for dinner, then book over to the Trump appearance in the hope you'll be able to shout out your gotcha question during a pause, or when he's leaving the dias.

“The problem we have is not with Muslims. There are plenty of Muslims living great lives with us, here in America.

Our problem is with “Extreme Islamic Terrorists” who hate us for our tolerance and freedom.

What you are referring to are the people who actually follow Islam. The ones who are "living great lives with us" are not.

Eventually, when the devout followers get sufficient numbers, they will confront their "back slid" fellow Islamists, and demand they follow Islam or they will be regarded as heretics, with the associated bad consequences.

The Islamic religion is like Locusts. For many years they will quietly eat plants until their numbers reach a threshold, then they will launch into a furious swarm and strip everything bare for as far as they can reach.

Islam has murdered more people than even the Communists. It is easily the most murderous ideology in human history.

As others have pointed out, all the Islamic "moderates" do when the true believers are hanging, stoning, and loping off heads is to stand around wringing their hands and saying "Oh dear!"

Your belief that it is possible to coexist with it over a long period of time is very naive based on it's past history.

One does not even have to wait for the future. Just look across the pond at what is happening in Europe now.

Take a look at the people occupying "Sweden's Most Wanted" list. You won't see very many people named "Svenson" on that list.

For an even better understanding, you can look at one of the reasons why the list looks like that. (Graphic Warning.)

Their religion is incompatible with Western Society. We will either refuse to tolerate their religion, or our society will eventually become Islamic, just as is happening in Europe.

We allow them here because we do not allow for an “official” religion.

There is so much wrong with that statement. People nowadays have a very wrong understanding regarding the constitutional provisions for not requiring religious tests for office, etc.

The Intent of the founders was not to be anti-religion or even secular. They ended the Constitution with a reference to "Our Lord", and they exempted the President from working on Sundays.

In the context of 1787, the intent wasn't to make the government neutral to religion, it was to make the government neutral to the various Christian Denominations making up the coalition of Colonies which combined to become the United States. In 1787, official state religions were still in existence, and the last thing the new nation needed was to become embroiled in doctrinaire disputes between various denominations of the Christian religion, and therefore between various states.

They finessed the problem by simply declaring the government neutral in Doctrinaire disputes, but they never intended this to make the government secular or atheistic. That is just how it has been read by the modern courts since 1948 by which time Roosevelt had appointed so many liberal Kookburgers to the federal courts.

To simply state my case, the US Government was intended to be explicitly Christian, but nondenominational. Abraham Lincoln recognized this condition in 1862.

Bottom line is this. We don't have to treat all religions equally. That is Liberal Bullshit introduced into the national conscious since 1948, but it has no actual basis in truth, or History, or correct law.

Yes, I know the law means whatever Liberal Judges says it does nowadays, but they are just making stuff up. The US does not have to treat all religions equally. It was designed to favor the Christian one.

Has anyone checked to see if the guy asking the question was planted?
................................................
I believe he was a plant, to try to get trump to say (what he probably thinks) but he was smart enough not to bite. Even though the media is spinning it that way because he didn’t condemn the questioner. I think he played it correctly.
By the way I believe obozo is a moslem.

One need only look at American muslims that cheer for terrorists. They are street bum, And they are doctors. They live in NYC and rural texas.

Their book tells them to kill the infidel. If they are muslim, they are an enemy of everyone on earth by their own faith.

All the PL that the media and liberals use to spread dangerous excuses do not alert that simple fact. And I am forever amazed how many people are so willing to simply ignore what they themselves believe and say.

Do we see all the ‘great life’ muslims condemn the open terror types? Nope.

Every Navy Seal needs some non combat soldier in supply depot taking his equipment off a shelf and sending it to him.

Every open jihadist has a non open jihadist supplying, propagandizing for and otehrwise supporting them.

Has Obama ever apologized to Jews for listening to the Reverend Wright for 20 years trash Jews? For 20 years the reverend spewed the most disgusting anti-semitic hate talk. Obama never apologized.

Why should Trump apologize.

In addition to that, I think we’re allowing too many Indians (dot indians) into this nation.

But I “get” why the NWO elites want to drown out White Christians everywhere.
