I like Trump and think he would actually get some things done. I think his positions regarding the illegal aliens and the border are spot on and I believe that is the most critical issue facing the country. If he gets the border fence done and starts deporting the illegals it will be the best thing to happen for our country in decades. If he does nothing else but that, I would consider him a success, anything after that would be a bonus.

Trump’s response to the first question he got was the most bizarre, irrational thing I ever heard in a presidential debate.

Moderator: “Should voters feel comfortable with Donald Trump’s finger on the nuclear button?”

Trump: “First off, Rand Paul shouldn’t even be in this debate. He’s less than 1 percent in the polls.....”

WHAT in holy hell was that?

Hank

I love the GOPee.......Trump not to lead us, but keep Boehner and mcconnel in power. This is why the GOPee is becoming worthless and useless.

It doesn’t do any good to attack Trump with facts and reason. His support isn’t a product of rational thought.

This is also what I have said about Trump. From the article:

“Those of us who are enraged at the lack of pushback by our elected GOP leadership should be forgiven for welcoming Trump's cocky, arrogant style; it was like getting to slap McConnell and Boehner across the face for their failure to live up to our expectations. But after a couple of months, the man's true nature is obnoxiously obvious: he is as big a narcissist as Obama. To elect him would be to trade one man afflicted with a personality disorder for another. Despite the differences in their professed ideologies, the results would likely be the same: national disaster. We cannot afford another national disaster as president. We are about to be overrun by the barbarians at the gates.”

Hopefully, voters will see through Trump and he won't be the candidate. Understand, I don't hate Trump or any other candidate, but I know what I see in Trump's behavior, past and present, and it is indicative of this writer's opinion which is also my evaluation of him.

We must have a President who is level headed, of an even temper, who is smart, thoughtful, a planner, who considers counsel from military department heads (when we get Obama’s yes men out), and can communicate with clarity to the nation so this country will recover from the Obamanation that has crippled this country.

The POTUS needs to be a good CEO. Define a vision, move forward boldly and find the best people to do the job. Trump knows how to do that.

Criminal illegal aliens? Every single solitary illegal alien is a criminal.

Sometimes, it’s more important to fire the one you have, thus blocking access, than waiting until you have a better replacement.

I had a conflict on Wednesday night, so I just now finished watching the taped debate. My take on Trump? He’s an ass. Not a fool, but his braggadocio and self-satisfied smirking grated on me in the first hour. And his response that he’d be able to handle complex foreign affairs, particularly in the middle East, by assembling a “team” — apparently to relieve him of the necessity of boning up on issues — was laughable. (Rubio took him down very well on that.)

Because Trump has more money than God, it would be very difficult for the other candidates to best him, but I hope he gets bored or implodes. I think he’d be a disastrous President.

I barely look at FR anymore exactly due to the shallow level of intellect showcased in many of the responses on this thread, but once in a while I check back in. I’m saddened but not surprised that the same cementheads that handed the 2012 election back to Obama rather than vote GOP are still here.

So this author doesn’t look like a Barbie Doll or one of Donald’s immigrant plastic wives—so what? Just let a woman talks sense about a clown in an empty, expensive suit, and all some men can do is mock her looks. Just like their loudmouthed buffoon of an idol mocked Fiorina. And of course, he ended up looking like a sheepish jerk on Wednesday to everyone but the morons who still think he’s the answer.

By the way, what do your mothers, wives, and daughters look like? If they don’t look like an airbrushed model, are they worthless as intellectual humans?

If Romney had been elected, he would have been better than Obama, period. Thanks for same sex marriage, by the way, cementheads.

The next POTUS will hold the security and fates of our children and grandchildren in his/her hands in so many situations, yet I suspect that millions of sore-headed pouting Trump supporters will sit out another election rather than vote for the better of two choices, thereby delivering Mrs. Bill Clinton to her life’s dream.

Seems like "our side" is never satisfied that one of our hopefuls, that has a chance to prevail, is ever "the right man to lead us". Consequently, we end up being ruled by the Left instead of being led by someone with a shred of decency...

Per your request - aimed at article and not the messenger who posted....

“...tonight he did his usual bragging about his wealth and success, he insulted all of his fellow opponents on the stage, and he blew hard without much substance in his windy retorts.”

I don’t remember him bragging about his wealth, mentioned his business success as a qualification for being president. The other candidates bragged on their purported records to the point of torment.

In other words, when Trump’s opponents (and CNN) smear Trump in precisely the fashion the writer accuses Trump of doing, it is only Trump who is a jerk because he did not roll over and just take it.

This writer is an idiot.

I don’t want a president, I want a wrecking ball and I want it pointed at every hope and dream the left ever had in their tiny pea brains.
