Anyone who watched the GOP debate tonight had to realize what a jerk Donald Trump truly is. While he may satisfy a certain lust in our hearts for someone who will poke the left and the GOP "leadership," he is a poster boy for self-love and bad manners. He may be brilliant at making money and deals, but tonight he did his usual bragging about his wealth and success, he insulted all of his fellow opponents on the stage, and he blew hard without much substance in his windy retorts.
He gets a few things right the danger posed by North Korea, and the fact that criminal illegal aliens are a terrible threat to our safety and need to be deported. Beyond that, there was very little to remember about his performance. He mugged, smirked, and stuck his nose in the air. While many of us may have enjoyed his amusing entry into the fray, we should admit he is not presidential material. Not even close.
Those of us who are enraged at the lack of pushback by our elected GOP leadership should be forgiven for welcoming Trump's cocky, arrogant style; it was like getting to slap McConnell and Boehner across the face for their failure to live up to our expectations. But after a couple of months, the man's true nature is obnoxiously obvious: he is as big a narcissist as Obama. To elect him would be to trade one man afflicted with a personality disorder for another. Despite the differences in their professed ideologies, the results would likely be the same: national disaster. We cannot afford another national disaster as president. We are about to be overrun by the barbarians at the gates.

-Ay Caramba!
I whole heartedly agree! “Securing the border” means nothing! Remember Obama said the border was secure!
I want the wall! Only Trump has said he will build it! I want Trump!
Guilty, off with her head!
Rubio is for amnesty and OWNED by the same people that OWN Benedict Boehner and Michelle McConnell!
I like Trump and think he would actually get some things done. I think his positions regarding the illegal aliens and the border are spot on and I believe that is the most critical issue facing the country. If he gets the border fence done and starts deporting the illegals it will be the best thing to happen for our country in decades. If he does nothing else but that, I would consider him a success, anything after that would be a bonus.
Trump will build a casino in Moscow and another golf course in Dubai.
Trump’s response to the first question he got was the most bizarre, irrational thing I ever heard in a presidential debate.
Moderator: “Should voters feel comfortable with Donald Trump’s finger on the nuclear button?”
Trump: “First off, Rand Paul shouldn’t even be in this debate. He’s less than 1 percent in the polls.....”
WHAT in holy hell was that?
Hank
I love the GOPee.......Trump not to lead us, but keep Boehner and mcconnel in power. This is why the GOPee is becoming worthless and useless.
It doesn’t do any good to attack Trump with facts and reason. His support isn’t a product of rational thought.
Trump is EXACTLY what this country needs right now. He is a politically incorrect brazenly unrepentant optimist. Perfection is never a requirement to be president. If he only promised to seal the border and kick out the criminal aliens he would have my vote.
He's just fine the way he is.
I would rather vote for a conservative like Cruz (I have the t-shirt) than just an American like Trump.

Thought so! Hair style says 60’s Liberal/Marxist.
FYI, you should all go the the article and pull down the “comments.”
If ole Patty has read any of them, she’s probably out looking for a snowbank or a cold bucket of water into which she can insert her a$$! She’s getting virtually no one to agree with what she wrote.
Rubio is a massive amnesty pimp, Gang of 8 open borders type.
If we don’t stop the illegal invasion, and stop importing third world multitudes here from around the world, we are finished.
As for Trump, I don’t care if he is humble or not. We’re electing a president, not a pope. All I want is someone who will stand up for America, and fight for the well-being of the country, at home and abroad.
I haven’t laughed that hard in a month! Thanks.
Cruz is preferable. He can’t win in November. Look up the math. Presidential politics requires a larger than life personality. If Trump can deliver New York, he wins.
By the time the wall is built, it will be to keep us in.
The question was bizarre. He was right to not give it an answer. Similar question: Do you promise to not hit your wife on the head with a hammer?
