For anyone who watched Wednesday night's Republican primary debate with the volume turned down, there was a clear winner, communication experts say: Donald Trump, hands down.
"When it comes to body language, nobody does it better," says David Givens, director of the Center for Nonverbal Studies in Spokane, Washington. "He just neutralizes the opposition."

He leans forward on the lectern.
Trump's opponents tend to stand up straight, which might please their mothers, but doesn't do much for the audience. Givens notes that Trump puts his hands on the lectern and leans forward. "It's like he's doing a pushup. It's a display of power," he says.
He gestures out to the audience.
It's a very big gesture, Givens says, reaching way out. "He extends his hands towards you. It's very personal," Givens says.
His palms are up.
When he does these big gestures, he usually has his palms up.
"He's saying 'I'm open, I am who I am and you can trust me,'" Morgan says, noting that Trump tends to have his palms up when facing the audience or when journalists ask him questions, but not when he faces his opponents.

Wait until the last paragraph to compare Trump to Mussolini...
Body language sells.
I remember Trumps face turning beet red on a couple of occasions, one in particular was an exchange with Carly, he did recover quickly each time, but you could tell he was steaming.
And Bush on his tippy toes, what does that say?
Trump didn’t become Trump by luck.
It says Bush thinks taller people are winners and shorter people are losers.
He surely has the Obama/Mussolini look down pat!
I saw that. I thought he was going to stroke out right there on that stage!
Carly gets under his skin.
Imagine— a woman Trump cannot dominate.
What ever happened to Oh Really’s body language expert?
Lol!
One thing I noticed was that ALL of the other male candidates were really sweating...beads of sweat on their foreheads....not Trump.
He leans forward on the lectern.

No, he’s not. He’s speaking into the microphone. You would think he’s done enough public speaking to know better. You’d think he’d know that today’s mikes can transmit just fine without being an inch away.

I think CNN was screwing with the colors, or just bad lighting. Everyone’s faces and hair colors were screwy.
I (almost) feel sorry for the guy, because you can tell his heart really isn't in this thing. He knows he's not going to win and doesn't even really want to. He was dragooned into this by his daddy and his Wall Street/Chamber of Commerce benefactors.
That’s right. The sweaters. Rubio, that guy from Wisconsin, Doughnut boy.
