The Icelandic capital of Reykjavik has announced that it will boycott all products made in Israel as long as the occupation of Palestinian territories continues.
The boycott not does limit itself to Judea and Samaria, but instead targets all of Israel. An explanatory memorandum claims that it is merely a symbolic gesture, though, and there is no list of specific Israel companies or products included.
Björk Vilhelmsdóttir, an outgoing councilwomen representing the Social Democratic Alliance, introduced the bill. This is expected to be her last major action as part of the city council.

Icelandic Capital Reykjavik to Boycott All Israeli Products I hope the stupid bastards boycott all those life saving medicines and medical treatments the Israelis have been developing.
Sometimes the only way to wake people up is to let enough of them get killed from their stupidity.

Woohoo what is their annual consumption that is not food or fuel related? Like $14.95. Do they boycott muslim/arab heating oil?

Iceland has only about 100 Jews living there, but they do have about 1,200 muslims. Between Judaism and Islam, guess which one has recognition by the Icelandic government.

That's almost what I was gonna say:
How will Israel get by without that .0000073% of their GNP?

Do we still have a base at Keflavik? I’m President Cruz or President Trump could get the Pentagon to devise a means of protecting ourselves without it.

How about taking in a few hundred thousand “refugees”? They will be good for your Jew-hating country. You want cultural diversity? you’ll get it.

Including Ormat Geothermal?
You go Bjork, enjoy freezing in the dark or paying to import fossil fuels for your power plants.

Don’t they have any history books in Iceland?
Don’t they know how to use the internet to find out facts?
They are acting about as mind numbingly uninformed and stupid as the average graduating class at a US liberal college.

Why are these Europeans so enamoured of Palestinians. They were sympathetic, while they were bombing Israel. Does anyone know what is going on on the ground level there that the Palestinians are the victims?

Politics aside I love Iceland, I found the people friendly and nice. Politically I found them quite liberal, and socialist.
Almost everything is imported, so for them to boycott anything is really shooting themselves in the foot. I am curious what does Israel export?

The mission the base provided really is not needed anymore. It is a shame it was great duty. Did five years there in the late 90s
