The Bernie Sanders 2016 boom has reached a critical threshold: it is now significant enough to be the target of nonsensical attacks from the Clinton universe. Sanders has been coming on hot in recent polling, overtaking Hillary in New Hampshire and threatening to pull even (or ahead) in Iowa. Up to this point, Clinton’s campaign has barely acknowledged Sanders’ existence and has maintained its critical focus on the Republican presidential candidates. But as the Huffington Post reports this morning, the Clinton-aligned super PAC Correct the Record is now dabbling in some very silly attacks on Sanders, looping in the democratic socialist senator as part of the international socialist conspiracy:
A super PAC backing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is going negative, circulating an email that yokes her chief rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to some of the more controversial remarks made by Jeremy Corbyn, the United Kingdom’s new Labour Party leader, including his praise for the late Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan leader who provided discounted fuel to Vermont in a deal supported by Sanders.
THE RED MENACE! As HuffPo lays out, the gist of the email is that Corbyn, a long-serving socialist Member of Parliament, has made some “extreme comments,” and that there are “similarities” between Corbyn and Sanders. Correct the Record is also apparently trying to make the case that Sanders was totally best buds with now-deceased Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez...

So let me get this straight, Bernie . . . you're going to set up an agency or a czar to determine how many kinds of deodorant, and how much of it, can be permitted by law?
Will you do the same with toilet paper? I mean look how many brands of toilet paper there are. Shall we just set up a monopoly of one company, or better yet, a government monopoly, to produce exactly the right amount of toilet paper, or otherwise limit the amount of toilet paper that gets produced?
Are you going to hire Michael Gruber to be the guy who figures out the correct amount of toilet paper that people should be allowed to use? He's smart. He teaches at MIT. So why shouldn't we put him in charge of figuring out exactly how much of everything should or shouldn't be produced for the American people?
Have you been to socialist Venezuela lately, Bernie? They seem to have solved the problem of too many toilet paper brands. Because right now there is no toilet paper to be had at all in socialist Venezuela."
So tell me Bernie, what exactly will you do to feed starving children by reducing the amount of toilet paper we have in this country? And by the way, when you close all the toilet paper companies, how will the people who used to work at them feed their own starving children?

The writer Robert Ringer said (and I agree) that a self-proclaimed liberal is a closet socialist, and a self-proclaimed socialist is a closet communist.
These are NOT liberals. They are assorted Marxists circling the wagons around Sanders, Hillary, Warren, and Obama.
