Another reason for me to stick with owning and buying older cars unless I can get my hands on a shop manual for one of the newer models (as it seems that you need one for mundane procedures such as changing a headlight or taillight).

With most marques, it’s stupidly easy to get ahold of the factory shop manual these days. Either by paying for a licensed PDF copy, a licensed printed copy, or going with the ‘Yaaar, Matey!’ network.
