Cruz, on the other hand, has only to stay competitive until the southern primaries March 1--- If he wins the SEC Primary, he's the front runner- if not, he's playing for silver.
All in all, not a bad position to be in.
Good catch.
Go Ted!
Yeah, remember how Newt had high numbers about this time, then fell to almost noting.
Flying under the radar is good for Cruz right now.
I could be wrong (and I often am, LOL), but I’m starting to think Trump is purposely functioning as the political equivalent of an icebreaker ship. Trump is smashing through the media and the GOP-E, forcing issues they’d rather not talk about on to the table, and clearing the path for other candidates of like-mindedness.
That assumes, of course, that Trump doesn’t want the nomination himself, which admittedly is a big assumption on my part. Just a thought.
It’s not going to be Cruz.
Trump has the high poll numbers because he appeals to
more than just the base. Cruz doesn’t appeal to more than just the base and should Trump implode his supporters will scatter.
Ted won’t carry very many moderates and zero Reagan democrats.
Ted is still in single digits, right where he’s been since he started.
Cruz is my favorite, but I’d enthusiastically support Trump. I think Trump respects Cruz and would listen to his advice on policy matters.
Very true. Met him on Saturday and watched him speak to 1500 women. He was very good. Very serious in private, Very funny in public. Wasn’t expecting that.
Well, if you’re trapped I a room with a tiger, do you poke it with a sharp stick, or try to be nice? Perry, Krispy, Grahamnesty, Paul and Jindal have opted for the sharp stick approach. That hasn’t worked terribly well for them.
I hope he's as smart as I think he is.
Cruz is OWNED by special interests, especially the Club for Growth (Koch Brothers) and Goldman Sachs.
Combine that with voting for Obama’s TPA as well as the Corker Bill. 5 fold increase in H1-B visas?
Amnesty express.
DEEDS, NOT WORDS.
Many here call Trump a fake. Wake up. Cruz is.
If Trump becomes the next POTUS, and then, Trump becomes a leftist president, then what? What’s to stop President Trump from practicing leftist politics, if he wants to do so? I remain very cautious about a President Trump, when his record is a leftist record. There needs to be, both, term limits and recall for all politicians and for all judges, at each and every level!
That’s good news.
Cruz is by no means out of the running, but if Trump is the nominee (and eventual winner in November 2016), I’d like to see Cruz on the Supreme Court.
