WASHINGTON — He may be a brain surgeon, but Dr. Ben Carson can’t cut it in the White House, Donald Trump said Sunday.
“I’ll make great deals for this country. Ben can’t do that. Ben’s a doctor and he’s not a deal maker and I’ll make great deals for our country, which is very important,” Trump said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”
Deal-making and driving down the national debt is not Carson’s “natural ability at all,” he added.
“Ben Carson’s a very, very nice man, but this will not be a good situation because of the fact that he’s not a dealer, he’s not a negotiator and the President has to be.”
New CBS/YouGov polling found Carson gaining on Trump in Iowa and is within 4 points of the billionaire: 29 percent to 25 percent.
The former pediatric neurosurgeon brushed off Trump’s latest assaults: “It doesn’t bother me, because I recognize that I have plenty of energy.”

“Let me be very plain, I’m not going to vote for @RealDonaldTrump,” Pataki tweeted Sunday. “He’s unfit to be president.”
Trump wasted little time mocking Pataki for his dismal poll numbers.
“Why is someone like George Pataki, who did a terrible job as Governor of N.Y. and registers ZERO in the polls, allowed on the debate stage?” the former reality-star tweeted back.
True about Carson. A good guy who would be so far in over his head that he’d need a headlamp to find his desk.
Carson is for amnesty and gun control.
The media are faking polls to get Carson to knock out Trump

I am threatened by Carson who said he would not have shot the 300 lb bully Michael Brown but would have arrested him. How remains a mystery! The jerk was a savage. Apparently Carson despite proof believes as does Obama that the police act stupidly. I want a President who believes thugs are to be dealt with as needed and Americans able to be safe. And who is well informed before speaking.
And Trump doesn't understand that there is a difference between international negotiations and twisting a city's arm for some additional tax abatements.
Trump managed negotiating with the city govt for permits and inspections, the contractors for materials, and the labor unions who built the hospital and the landlord who sold the property on which it was built
Then donated millions to foundations and charities to fund its research grants

I like Carson, but he backs off too quickly.
How much difference is there in negotiating with labor unions and corrupt politicians vs negotiating with the Chinese? It’s about getting the best deal possible from greedy people and communists
