House to finish Iran debate and vote on deal and sanctions bills (9am on C-SPAN)

On Friday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business. First and last votes expected: 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Complete Consideration of H.R. 3461 – To Approve the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, signed at Vienna on July 14, 2015, relating to the nuclear program of Iran (Closed Rule, No Further Debate) (Sponsored by Rep. John Boehner / Foreign Affairs Committee)

H.R. 3460 – To suspend until January 21, 2017, the authority of the President to waive, suspend, reduce, provide relief from, or otherwise limit the application of sanctions pursuant to an agreement related to the nuclear program of Iran (Closed Rule, Two Hours of Debate) (Sponsored by Rep. Peter Roskam / Foreign Affairs Committee / Ways and Means Committee)

"Who went along with this charade to change it to a 2/3 over ride of the dictators veto ? let me give you a clue-— REPUBLICANS!!!"

Yes, indeed! A sampling of the asswipes on the Senate's copy of the U.S. Constitution finds GOP DNA in abundance along with the usual Demonicrat stains.

If you accept the fact that Obama is a radical anti-American, who believes America is the root ill in the world, and who wants to punish America and bring her down...ALLL of his actions make sense.

Then you have the political establishment wankers who want to play political games with our security and future...and so their actions begin to make a perverse sense as well.

We need leaders in the House and Senate who will stand four square up to Obama or any other of his ilk and state, forthrightly and unequivocally that this "deal," is a Treaty. Obama is trying to change US Law with it.

Only a properly ratified treaty, or a counter resolution/act in Congress can undo the current law of the land...that the sanctions on Iran are in place and shall remain there.

Anyhow, they should make this clear and indicate that any move by the executive to suspend US law on his own authority, without a ratified Treaty, or a Act of Congress, will be treated for the treason it is and articles of impeachment will be immediately put before the Congress.

THAT is how you deal with an anti-American like Obama over this deal.

In the mean time, the sanctions on Iran remain in place.

there is no defense against obama except:

1. shut down the government for months at a time
2. there is no obama

otherwise neither the GOPe nor the GOPc has the raw political power to prevail......

Where are all the “No Nukes” pop stars from the 70’s lending a hand to this noble cause? Short memories? James Taylor, Carly Simon, Jackson Browne, Martin Sheen and the list goes on and on. Were they just political puppets?
