Donald Trump reacted with fury today as a newspaper report from 1927 surfaced and appeared to suggest his father was arrested during a KKK riot in 1927.
A New York Times story from 1927 lists a 'Fred Trump' as one of the people taken in during a 'free-for-all' battle between police and 1,000 members of the Ku Klux Klan.
The address in the article also matches that of Trump's father in Queens.

I don’t know who is behind it. I just know most do not like him in the media because he is making headlines! The GOPe as we all know don’t like him or does his GOP running mates! Well, I am Catholic and my great-grandfather moved from Missouri to Minnesota in 1860 along with his parents and sibs in order to get away from Pre-KKK activities against the German Catholics by slave holders there.
That being said, I question the validity of the story and even if true, it sounds as though there was insufficient evidence against Mr. Trump to convict him. I am not a huge Trump for for POTUS, and if this is all they can find on him, it isn’t worth the print.
